NBA Monday Betting Preview February 28th

Seven Games Cap Off February

It was a short but busy month for the NBA in February and we are sending it off with a seven-game slate. With the exception of two games, the NBA betting lines present some pretty evenly matched contests.

NBA Games For Feb. 28

Indiana Pacers vs Orlando Magic

The Indiana Pacers visit the Orlando Magic in a game that is close to a pick’em but favors the home team ever so slightly. Orlando beat Indiana by a point in their only meeting of the season. These teams are coming off wins but have combined to win just three of their last 18 games prior to that. The total has gone over in eight of their last 10 meetings.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs Cleveland Cavaliers

All-Star guard Darius Garland will miss his third consecutive game for the Cleveland Cavaliers as he battles back soreness. The Cavs are 7-6 without him and are entering as home underdogs against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Wolves are 6-5 against the spread (ATS) as a road favorite on the online gambling lines.

Toronto Raptors vs Brooklyn Nets

The Toronto Raptors let us down against the Atlanta Hawks and are now coming off two blowout losses. The post-All-Star break has not been kind to Toronto as OG Anunoby remains sidelined while star point guard Fred VanVleet is banged up. The Brooklyn Nets, on the other hand, are looking for a second straight upset. At home. They are 2-4 as an underdog.

Chicago Bulls vs Miami Heat

The Chicago Bulls have struggled against the best teams in the NBA like the Miami Heat, who are favored here. Chicago is just 2-11 against the top four teams of each conference and is just 12-16 against teams that are at .500 and above. The Heat have won both games against Chicago this season and are 14-4 at home versus the conference.

San Antonio Spurs vs Memphis Grizzlies

It took a historic night for Ja Morant to end the Memphis Grizzlies’ two-game skid but they got it done against Chicago. Memphis has otherwise been one of the best teams to bet online. The Grizzlies have an NBA-best 66.1 percent cover rate (41-21). The San Antonio Spurs will look to upset, or at least, cover, as Memphis is just 5-5 ATS versus the division.

Charlotte Hornets vs Milwaukee Bucks

The biggest blowout and highest total are for the Charlotte Hornets visit against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Hornets have been abysmal lately, having won just two of their last 12 games. The Bucks are not doing any better with a 1-4 record in their last five. However, Milwaukee’s last eight games have all gone over.

Sacramento Kings vs Oklahoma City Thunder

The Sacramento Kings visit the Oklahoma City Thunder as favorites, which is a rare thing for them. The Kings are 2-0 on both the moneyline and point spread versus the Thunder. The Thunder tend to fare well on the betting lines. They are 13-5-2 ATS at home versus the conference and are 14-9-4 ATS as an underdog host.
