NBA Monday Betting Preview March 7th

Eight-Game Slate Features Multiple Potential Lopsided Matchups

NBA Games For March 7

Those looking to start the week by parlaying chalk have plenty of choices. The NBA betting lines present at least five teams this Monday favored by 7½ points or more. A parlay of these five on the moneyline pays $156 for every $100 bet. But, buyer beware as two of these teams have pulled off upsets recently.

Chicago Bulls vs Philadelphia 76ers

The Chicago Bulls look to avoid getting swept by the Philadelphia 76ers in their fourth and final meeting. Chicago continues to struggle against the East’s elite, most recently losing to Milwaukee. The Sixers are 2-1 against the spread (ATS) against Chicago but are only 12-19 ATS at home. The under has cashed in 64.3 percent (5-9-1) of Chicago’s games as a road underdog.

Atlanta Hawks vs Detroit Pistons

Can the Detroit Pistons keep their seven-game unbeaten streak on the point spread alive? The Atlanta Hawks look to snap it despite being just 1-6 ATS in their last seven road games. The Pistons, on the other hand, are 15-12 ATS as a home underdog. The total has also gone over in four of Detroit’s last five games against the Southeast Division.

Houston Rockets vs Miami Heat

Another evening, another double-digit spread for the Houston Rockets. The NBA’s worst team cashed a big underdog ticket on the sportsbook against Memphis on Sunday thus snapping its 12-game skid. It was also just the third time Houston won as underdogs of 10-plus points. The Miami Heat are rarely double-digit favorites and are just 1-4 ATS as one.

Portland Trail Blazers vs Minnesota Timberwolves

Tanking has hit new levels for the Portland Trail Blazers as they have lost four straight by an average of 28 points. Thank injuries for this as the Blazers will be rolling out G-Leaguers. The Minnesota Timberwolves just barely covered their 13½-point spread against Portland on Saturday. Fifteen of Minnesota’s last 18 games have gone over.

Los Angeles Lakers vs San Antonio Spurs

LeBron James had to drop 56 points to snap the Los Angeles Lakers’ losing skid but they pulled it off against the Golden State Warriors. They visit the San Antonio Spurs as underdogs with totals that are the biggest this Monday. The total has gone over in four of these teams’ last five meetings. Additionally, the over is 10-4-0 in San Antonio’s games as a favored host.

Utah Jazz vs Dallas Mavericks

You can bet online on Dallas Mavericks’ games to have low totals as they are once again part of the lowest total for the evening. Thanks to their elite defense and glacial pace, Mavericks’ games average 210 points, which is the lowest in the NBA. However, their last two games against the Utah Jazz both went over.

Golden State Warriors vs Denver Nuggets

The Golden State Warriors are reeling and appear to be ready to drop this one against the Denver Nuggets as they are resting the majority of their starters. The Denver Nuggets are the ones on the second night of a back-to-back, though. They are 5-6 ATS under these conditions but have been on a roll lately, having covered nine of their last 12 games.

New York Knicks vs Sacramento Kings

After snapping their seven-game skid, the New York Knicks enter the Sacramento Kings’ arena as slight underdogs. New York has a good shot to win consecutive games for the first time since Jan. 15 as Sacramento is just 7-16 against the East. Ten of these teams’ last 13 meetings’ totals have gone under.
