NBA Games for Thursday
Los Angeles Lakers (24-24) at Philadelphia 76ers (28-19)
- Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
- Point Spread: Philadelphia -2½
- Moneyline: Los Angeles Lakers +120, Philadelphia -140
- Total: 218
The Los Angeles Lakers visit the Philadelphia 76ers on a high from beating the Brooklyn Nets. Anthony Davis returned, but as he’s known to be, is considered questionable for this meeting. The Lakers could use him as they face superstar Joel Embiid, who has led the Sixers to a 12-3 (11-4 against the spread (ATS) record in 2022.

The Lakers are okay on the road with a 6-5 ATS record as an underdog. With Davis in the lineup, Los Angeles is only 5-7 on the road and the Sixers have won three straight home games against the Lakers. The under is also worth a bet online here as five of these teams’ last six games in Philadelphia have gone this way.
Minnesota Timberwolves (24-23) at Golden State Warriors (35-13)
- Time: 10 p.m. ET
- Point Spread: Golden State -6
- Moneyline: Minnesota +200, Golden State -240
- Total: 229½
The Minnesota Timberwolves are coming. The perennial non-playoff team is a game above .500 thanks to an 8-4 record (6-6 ATS) in January. They even beat Golden State last Sunday, though the Warriors were without most of their main players. That’s not the case here, hence why they’re back to being favorites.
Steph Curry and Klay Thompson are struggling shooting the rock while Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala are out. Still, Golden State has won 10 straight home games against Minnesota. The Warriors have also won four of their last five games. They have been flunking on the spread, going just 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven conference games.
