Best NBA Player Props 4/3/24: Bank on Anthony Davis to Dominate
This is my favorite time of the season to make NBA predictions. We know which teams are motivated to win and which are starting to look forward to the offseason and 2025. This is extremely important when betting on the NBA.
I’m back breaking down Wednesday’s beautiful nine-game slate and looking to cash a sweep with my best NBA player props.

1. NBA Prop Bet: Lakers PG D’Angelo Russell Over 5½ Assists
We’re playing the hits this Wednesday. The Lakers were North of the border against the Toronto Raptors last night, and we backed D’Angelo Russell at this same number, and he came through for us, finishing with seven assists. Los Angeles is coming off a pair of dominant wins over the Brooklyn Nets and Raptors. The Lakers are on the second night of a back-to-back and will battle the Washington Wizards, who are another obvious tanking team. There’s the risk of another blowout, but I trust the Lakers.
The Wizards have allowed the second-most assists per game and have the third-worst defensive rating in the NBA this season. Russell has accumulated six or more assists in eight of his last 11 games. Russell will easily find Anthony Davis in the paint to convert assist chances. Sip the juice.
2. NBA Prop Bet: Lakers PF Anthony Davis Over 24½ Points
This may look familiar, but that’s because it is. The Lakers are playing on the second night of a back-to-back, and get the soft Wizards. Unfortunately, Davis sat the entire fourth quarter last night in Toronto after scoring 21 points through the first three quarters. If the Lakers get out to a massive lead here again, we could see the same result, but the Lakers have struggled this season on back-to-backs.
I’m riding with Anthony Davis. He scored 40 points in the previous matchup this season with Washington. The Wizards have zero answers for defending AD and are tied with the Pacers, who allow the most points in the paint in the NBA. Washington gives up the most second-chance points per game, and Davis leads the NBA in that category. Davis is having an incredible season and isn’t getting enough credit for how well he has played. He has exceeded this line in eight consecutive meetings with Washington, including a 55-point performance on the road in D.C. last season.
Anthony Davis was a FORCE against the Wizards tonight😤

◽️3 BLKAD is the first Laker with back-to-back 40-point games since Kobe Bryant in March 2013.

3. NBA Prop Pick: Pacers PF Pascal Siakam Over 8½ Rebounds
Today is about running it back. We backed Siakam on Monday at this same number, and he finished with six rebounds. The Pacers were up 31 points after three quarters, and Indiana rested their starters the rest of the way. I don’t expect another blowout of that magnitude tonight in Brooklyn.
The Pacers play at the fastest pace in the NBA alongside the Washington Wizards. This will lead to some tired legs and more rebounding chances for Siakam. The Nets allow the eighth-most rebounds per game overall and to power forwards. Since joining the Pacers, Siakam grabbed 11 rebounds in the previous matchup against the Nets and 10 in the last matchup this season as a member of the Raptors. Siakam is over this line in seven of his previous 11 games. Myles Turner injured his finger in the game on Monday. With the chance he sits, this line is a steal at plus-money. Trust the Pacers to put the pressure on the Nets and dominate the glass.
