Best NBA Player Props 11/6: Derrick White Over 20 Points a Solid Bet
- A busy Wednesday night is a great time for my free NBA picks, starting with a massive matchup in Boston between the Celtics and Golden State Warriors.
- The Thunder present a big challenge for Russell Westbrook.
- Expect the Mavericks to feast underneath against the Bulls.
- Read on for our best NBA player props tonight.
We had a bit of a mixed bag of results on Monday, although an early injury to one of our picks sank what could’ve been a positive night. We’ll cross our fingers and hope everyone stays healthy as we move to a Wednesday evening packed with great matchups.

3 Best NBA Player Props Tonight
1. Celtics Can Lean on Derrick White
We wanted to include something on the marquee matchup of the night, a rematch of the 2022 NBA Finals. Both the Warriors and Celtics come in with one loss and are clicking on just about every cylinder.
Boston will be without Jaylen Brown for the third straight game. That’s nearly 26 points per game that’s up for grabs, so to speak. Jayson Tatum will obviously be very active on that end of the floor. He scored 26 first-half points at Atlanta on Monday in a true get-on-my-back kind of effort.

Tatum also may have some motivation going up against Steve Kerr, who played him sparingly in the Olympics in Paris and expects a rude treatment at TD Garden. If that’s a factor that sways you at the BetUS Sportsbook, then find a bet online in favor of Tatum doing some great stuff.
Just to be different, we’re looking at Derrick White to go off. He had 21 points in only 29 minutes against the Hawks, including a dominant second quarter that included 12 points, four assists and two steals. White averaged 21.8 points in games he played when Brown was sidelined last season and the lowest-scoring effort among them – a 15-point game – saw him pulled early in a 40-point Celtics rout.
Additionally, White scored 30 points only twice all last season and one of those times was versus the Warriors.
Bet on Derrick White Over 20+ Points (-114)
2. D-Minded Thunder Will Lock Down Nuggets
While the Oklahoma City Thunder are putting up some incredible defensive numbers, it might be wise to get in on the action. An NBA player prop bet on one of the Denver Nuggets is an option on Wednesday.
Jamal Murray remains sidelined for the Nuggets due to a concussion so Russell Westbrook gets another start. He scored 21 points in a narrow win over Toronto on Monday. The Raptors, however, are the antithesis of the Thunder, allowing nearly 30 points more per game.
Perimeter defense is one of Oklahoma City’s calling cards (opponents are making 28.6%) and Westbrook is not an elite 3-point shooter. He had just one triple in the 21-point effort and is 5-for-24 from the arc on the season. Additionally, Westbrook scored only six points in an earlier matchup with the Thunder.
Expect Alex Caruso and company to limit Westbrook’s looks from outside.
Bet on Russell Westbrook Under 1.5 3-Pointers (-228)
3. Bet on Cam Thomas Hitting at Least 26 Points
A team playing different ball than the Thunder is Chicago, which gives up nearly 120 points per game. Almost half of those points – a league-high 56.9 – come in the paint. That gives the Dallas bigs an opportunity.
Daniel Gafford averages 10.1 points and his over/under is set at 10.5, so basically an average game in the scoring column would put an over bet on the verge. He had only one game against the Bulls last season and it resulted in 20 points on 9-for-9 shooting.
The reigning field-goal percentage champ will get some Luka hand-offs and putback slams and slowly creep into double digits.
Bet on Daniel Gafford 11+ Points (+106)
Question Of The Day
Are there any early oddities relative to the Las Vegas NBA odds?
The Toronto Raptors are 2-6 but they’re having very different results as it relates to betting online. They’ve won seven straight against the NBA spreads, claiming a couple of wins and a series of narrow losses along the way.
