1. Jaylen Brown Over 23½ Points

We have been impressed by the play of Brown, who is averaging 24.8 points per game, which is why we’re backing him to score over 23½ points against Washington.

The Wizards’ defense isn’t anything to write home about, and after scoring just 17 points against the Cavaliers, Brown will be keen to reproduce what he showed when dropping 37 points on the Hawks last week.

2. Trae Young 3+ 3-Pointers

Our NBA predictions have Trae Young dropping three three-pointers against the Chicago Bulls.

The superstar is an extremely short favorite to score one three-pointer, so there is much better value for him to score three. It pays -106 with NBA betting odds, so it’s worth including in parlays for Friday’s action.

Young hasn’t been at his best from behind the arch in 2024. He is shooting three-pointers at 34.1%, which isn’t horrible, but he’s better than that. He made only 1-6 against the Golden State Warriors earlier this week, but a bounceback is expected.

Young scored five three-pointers against the Trail Blazers on the road last week, and he could be starting to find his groove. He has been playing more unselfishly, including posting 19 assists against the Kings.

As a result, he took only seven shots. However, against the Bulls, we expect him to go into scoring mode.

3. Tyrese Haliburton Under 16.5 Points

The 24-year-old hasn’t been overly consistent in 2024, averaging 15.3 points per game. He scored four points against the Houston Rockets with 1-7 shooting, one of his worst career performances.

That followed up consecutive 16-point games, and he’s down on confidence. Therefore, we’re happy to take the generous odds for Haliburton to have another shocker against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Bucks’ defense could do a number on Haliburton, and although he often plays well against the Bucks, with an average of 23.4 PPG, he isn’t playing well and he could be on limited minutes on Friday.
