3 Best NBA Player Props to Bet Today
1. Brandon Miller Over 4.5 3-Pointers (+120)
This is a pretty big number but one we think is reachable for the dynamic Miller, who has a big, bright green light to do what he needs to do for a Hornets team operating without LaMelo Ball (calf strain).
In the first two games without Ball, Miller has jacked up 30 3-pointers, including 19 against Atlanta on Saturday (seven of them went in). Miller is averaging 11.6 attempts from long range per game over his last 13 contests, so he just needs to be so-so in the accuracy department to hit the over here.

The Sixers are so-so in a lot of departments as it pertains to perimeter defense, but teams have attempted at least 40 from long range in five of the last 10 games, including over 50 in one of them. Miller will chuck up a bunch and all you need is a little hot stretch to get to five, a number he’s reached in five of his last seven games, during which he’s averaging 27.4 points. At a great value, this NBA betting line is hard to pass up.

2. Christian Braun Under 12.5 Points (-105)
This is a pretty small number and one hot stretch by Braun could sink us here, but the matchup is right to go low on the athletic Nuggets guard. He’ll be up against Golden State, which clamps down on the inside as well as anyone.
Braun’s breakout has included a bunch of strong drives and impressive finishes, leading to a team-high 17 dunks. That’s his game. It’s also the area in which the Warriors thrive, limiting opponents to 14.7 made baskets inside of five feet, the second-fewest in the league.

Golden State held Phoenix to only 30 points in the paint on Saturday, the lowest this season for a Warriors opponent. Braun, who ranks 22nd in the NBA in made shots in the restricted zone (teammate Nikola Jokic is 21st, just to give some perspective here), will be challenged on those drives. Sure, he consistently gets to 13 points or more, but rarely that much higher (more than half of his games are 16 points or fewer). If you just take a couple of his opportunities away you’ve got your number and a winning NBA pick.

3. Anfernee Simons Over 17.5 Points (-124)
Simons is one of the hotter players in the league over the last week, averaging 26.5 points over his last three games while making 15 of 28 3-pointers (53.6%). He would’ve had even bigger numbers if he hadn’t fouled out after just two seconds of action in the fourth quarter against Dallas on Sunday, putting a premature end to a 27-point, 23-minute clinic in which he shot 9-for-11.
The Clippers, Portland’s opponent on Tuesday, can play some pretty good defense and they like to control a somewhat methodical pace. Opponents take 85.0 shots per game, the fewest in the West. But Simons hoisted up 24 shots in a 25-point effort at Los Angeles earlier this season and we’ve seen his streaky nature over the years.
Ride this hot one to paydirt with what we think could be an easy winning NBA bet.
Bet on Anfernee Simons Over 17.5 Points (-124)
Question Of The Day
Is there a game market bet online that looks interesting tonight?
The Hornets are 8-3 at home as the home underdog, a position they find themselves in at +5 against the Sixers. The Ball injury is massive, but that’s a pretty big number for a 4-14 Philly team to cover on the road.
