3 Best NBA Player Props to Bet Today
1. Collin Sexton Over 16.5 Points (-124)
The Jazz continue a road trip at Portland on Friday and Collin Sexton has an opportunity for some production. We’re targeting him for a variety of reasons, but largely because he attacks one particular zone that the Blazers have trouble defending.
Sexton is 18-for-28 (64.3%) from the floor when shooting between 10-14 feet, a product of him refining his offensive approach. Only Darius Garland has a better percentage among the 67 players in the league with at least 20 attempts. And wouldn’t you know it? Portland is dead last in the NBA in defending that mid-range area, with opponents making a whopping 55.6% of their attempts.

Since coming to Utah, Collin has cut out some of the long 2’s, is taking more corner 3’s, and is much improved in the paint

The veteran guard scored 25 points and 27 points, respectively, in his last two matchups with the Blazers. He’s averaging 18.3 points over his last 15 games, 19.1 over his last eight and 17.7 on the road.
A lot of signs point to Sexton making this bet online come to fruition.

2. Damian Lillard Over 6.5 Assists (-108)
We made a similar NBA bet a couple of weeks ago and Lillard delivered. He’s had only five assists in each of his last two games but those were somewhat lopsided results in which the stretch run was a bit wonky.
Lillard’s Bucks have turned things around, winning seven straight before a loss to Atlanta on Wednesday. They’ve likely circled this one on the calendar; Boston won the first two meetings between these rivals and the last matchup resulted in some testy stuff between Giannis and Jaylen Brown, followed by some sharp words from Jaylen.
Giannis gets Jaylen Brown with the elbow, and then fakes out a handshake…

The intensity figures to keep things close. In games decided by 12 points or fewer, Lillard is averaging 8.6 assists. There will be a lot of points scored in this one and plenty of opportunities for Dame to find a shooter, including one who is making his season debut.

3. Nikola Vucevic Over 21.5 Points (-109)
My last NBA betting prediction is on Nikola Vucevic. The Chicago Bulls big man has been among the most consistent performers this season. He’s posting his best PPG (21.7) since 2020-21 and is ninth in the NBA with a career-high (by a lot) 59.2% mark from the floor.
Vucevic has been electric from the perimeter (8th overall at 46.4%) while still doing some solid work close to the hoop. He’s fourth in the NBA in made FGs (49) from between 5-9 feet, the zone where the Pacers own the worst opponents’ FG% in the East at 47.6.
The Spurs, who also have some soft spots in the interior, just let Vucevic go off for 39 points. We see him getting his chances against a struggling Indiana team.
Nikola Vučević drops a season-high 39 PTS on 72.7 FG% (16-22 FGM).
Ayo Dosunmu records his 1st career triple-double (27p, 11a, 10r).

Question Of The Day
What can we look forward to this weekend?
Well, keep an eye on the NBA news pages for updates and then eye some picks on Sunday, when there are 12 games on the docket. The schedule gets light after that as the NBA Cup plays its quarterfinal games, so get some action in with one of the last busy days for a little while.
