- These are the best NBA player prop bets today.
We took a couple of shots to the chin with some sluggish nights for a few of our Tuesday night picks. It’s back to the drawing board, where we find one of the busiest days of the year in the NBA. All but two teams (sorry, Celtics and Bucks fans) are in action in the traditional pre-Thanksgiving hardwood feast. Here are three of the top NBA picks today you can make before digging in.
3 Best NBA Player Props Today
1. Raptors vs Pelicans Parlay: Jakob Poeltl Over 15.5 Points, Raptors to Cover +3.5
We start off with a pair of 4-14 teams locking horns in the Big Easy. Maybe not the most exciting matchup on the slate, but there’s some buzz and emotion in New Orleans for the return of Dejounte Murray.

For our purposes it’s a very exciting matchup in that we can target that weak Pelicans interior defense, which gives up 54.3 points in the paint, second-most in the NBA. The clubhouse leader for the visiting Toronto Raptors in this department is Jakob Poeltl, who simply needs to hit his scoring average (16.2) for the first half of this NBA parlay to come through.
Poeltl has been in a bit of a dive in the scoring department, but there were some better defenses in that mix and he has been up and down in the category all season. He had a pair of 30-point games last week when taking on two teams that have struggled to hold opponents down in the paint (Boston, Indiana).
The Raptors are 12-6-0 against the spread early on. The Pelicans are 6-12-0. That’s a pretty easy trend to identify and just taking Toronto to keep it close with Poeltl doing his thing should yield a pretty solid payout.
So, the best NBA parlay today will include Jakob Poeltl over 15.5 Points (-113) and the Toronto Raptors +2.5.

2. Blazers vs Pacers Best Prop: Pascal Siakam Over 20.5 Points
From one over to another, we again are targeting a soft zone in a certain defense with this one. Siakam’s Pacers squad hosts the Portland Trail Blazers, who are dealing with a rash of injuries, especially to their big men. Deandre Ayton has missed seven in a row (finger), Robert Williams III is in concussion protocol, and rookie Donovan Clingan is expected to miss multiple weeks (knee).
That should free up plenty of opportunities in the paint and in that mid-range area, where Siakam likes to feast. He has 20 made field goals in that 10- to 14-foot zone, eighth-most in the league, and the Blazers are inept in that zone. They allow opponents to make 58.8% of their shots there, the highest percentage in the league by a whopping 8.3%.
Pascal Siakam scored at least 21 points in five straight before being held to 14 against New Orleans on Monday. He’s topped the 20-point mark in 10 of 18 overall. Here’s an opportunity to do so again and earn some more love in Indy.

Bet on Pascal Siakam Over 20.5 Points (-114)
3. Heat vs Hornets Best Prop: Bam Adebayo Under 16.5 Points
From two overs to an under, we are looking at this Heat big man’s NBA betting line as he heads to Charlotte on Wednesday.
Adebayo’s squad suffered a tough home loss to Milwaukee on Tuesday, making this a quick turnaround. That often leads to some low numbers for Bam, whose stats are down across the board this season anyway.

In his one game played on no rest this season, Adebayo went for a season-low five points on 2-for-8 shooting. In 11 such games last season he averaged 16.4 points, which was nearly three below his season average. And while the North Carolina kid loves to go home, he’s averaged just 15.8 points in his last five trips.
Taking the under on Bam Adebayo, who was 6-for-17 in a 12-point effort against the Hornets earlier this season, is a strong NBA bet option on Wednesday.

Question Of The Day
Any other good markets to bet online today?
In addition to the Raptors, we like the Hawks and Cavs to hit the over (240) in a high-scoring affair. They’ve combined to go over in 25 of 36 opportunities this season.
