3 Best NBA Player Props to Bet Today
1. Shaedon Sharpe Over 16.5 Points (-122)
The Blazers have been a tricky team on which to place a wager this season. A lot of injuries, tons of inconsistency. We’ve isolated Sharpe in this one as we think he has an opportunity for a solid game at home against the Spurs.
For NBA betting fans, Sharpe has scored in double figures in 13 straight, averaging 19.4 points in that span. Some of his numbers are just a tad down in the past couple of weeks, but he usually likes playing at home (19.3 PPG) and enjoys getting out on the break, something that can be accomplished against San Antonio.
The Spurs give up 16.2 fast-break points per game, among the higher figures in the league. They are one of three teams that have allowed at least 50 made baskets in the first three seconds of a shot clock (i.e. a turnover leading to a long pass and a quick dunk).
Wait, did somebody say dunk? That’s music to Sharpe’s ears. He owns the top three vertical leaps on slams in the NBA this season according to the league’s sharp (pardon the pun) new dunk score leaderboard. It’s led by this beauty against Utah last week.

Sharpe won’t have a million points on fast-break slams, but this is the kind of opponent that will allow a couple, perhaps, and maybe that’s the difference in this NBA prop bet.

2. Cameron Johnson Over 3.5 3-Pointers (+120)
This Nets sharpshooter has 11 triples in 21 attempts over his last two games and is shooting a torrid 51.8% over his last 10. That 51.8% mark is the best number in the NBA in that span (since Nov. 17) among 103 players with at least 50 attempts.

Johnson, who has scored exactly 26 points in each of his last three games as Cam Thomas remains sidelined, will be up against a Grizzlies defense that allows plenty of above-the-break 3-pointers (fourth-most in the league). That’s where he does the bulk of his long-range damage. He made only three 3-pointers in an earlier matchup against Memphis but it came in four attempts, his second-lowest total in that category all season.
The former Tar Heel typically gets up nearly eight 3-point tries per game and often many more. He just needs a small handful of them to go in in order to make this one come to fruition.
Bet on Cameron Johnson Over 3.5 3-Pointers (+120)
3. Walker Kessler Over 10.5 Points (-110)
This guy isn’t a scoring machine but he got into double digits in five straight before an eight-point effort his last time out.
Kessler likes to clean up messes underneath, ranking third in the NBA in offensive rebounds per game (4.0), an area where the Suns – Kessler’s opponent tonight – have been struggling of late. Phoenix has allowed 13.8 offensive boards over the last four games, leading to nearly 16 second-chance points per contest.
The Jazz big man looks up at only Paolo Banchero, Nikola Jokic and Domantas Sabonis on the second-chance points leaderboard. The Suns give up a ton of attempts in that mid-range area, which are often ripe for a soft bounce into Kessler’s hands. He’ll get a few buckets that way and a couple more on a pick-and-roll for one of the best NBA player props tonight.
Bet on Walker Kessler Over 10.5 Points (-110)
Question Of The Day
Is there a good NBA game to bet online today?
Sticking with Johnson and the Nets, they’re being given a hefty 11 points at Memphis. Brooklyn is an NBA-best 9-3-1 against the spread on the road (8-3-1 as road underdog) and already knocked off the Grizzlies at home earlier this season.
