3 Best NBA Player Props Today
1. Zach LaVine Over Pick: 23.5 Points
We’re starting off with a pretty simple NBA bet – take the star player to score a lot of points against a bad defensive squad. Just in case you think we’re too lazy, here are some more numbers to back it up.
Zach LaVine is on a nice roll right now, scoring at least 25 points in each of his last four games. He’s shooting 55% from the floor in that stretch while making 18 of 35 3-pointers. While the Bulls remain a work in progress, LaVine is getting props for playing smart, mature basketball – i.e. letting the game come to him.
The 29-year-old wing missed each meeting against the Wizards last season but averaged 30.0 PPG against them in 2022-23. Over the last 15 games vs Washington, that number is a healthy 28.2.
The Wizards give up 122.1 points per game, second-most in the NBA behind these Bulls. This figures to be an up-and-down affair and the veteran LaVine will have plenty of chances.
Oh, there’s chatter on a possible LaVine trade out there, but there’s ALWAYS chatter on a possible LaVine trade. Makes no difference with this bet online.

2. Tyler Herro Over Pick: 3.5 3-Pointers
When the Miami Heat were working out lineups and building chemistry in the preseason, head coach Erik Spoelstra stressed a high volume of 3-point attempts. It’s been a winning formula (Celtics, Warriors, etc.) and Spo saw an opportunity for the Heat to join the fray behind the backcourt duo of Tyler Herro and Terry Rozier.
“Don’t leave any on the table,” Spoelstra told NBA news outlets this preseason of the tandem shooting 3-pointers. “That’s basically my message to them. … Those guys are killers.”
While Herro has had a nice start to his season, Rozier has struggled and has been bothered recently by a foot issue. He’s expected to return from a two-game absence tonight against Milwaukee, and that caused us to look at some Herro-Rozier numbers.
In the 12 games Herro has played with Rozier beside him, he’s shot 55-for-116 (47.4%) from the arc. In the two games with Rozier on the sidelines, Herro’s gone 3-for-20 from long range. Here’s one of the few that went in.
Tyler Herro delivered a textbook three-pointer during the Miami Heat’s 123-118 overtime win against the Dallas Mavericks on November 24, 2024. Set up beautifully by Bam Adebayo’s precise assist, Herro nailed the shot early in the game, highlighting their seamless on-court pic.twitter.com/LnmOuDoFja

They can find one another in space, through hand-offs and off dribble drives. The Bucks give up a boatload of 3-pointers at a pretty high percentage. Expect Herro to welcome back his buddy with a high volume of long-range attempts.
Bet on Tyler Herro Over 3.5 3-Pointers (-102)
3. Rui Hachimura Over Pick: 1.5 3-Pointers
We’re sticking with the same kind of bet as we head west for a Lakers-Suns clash. Rui Hachimura is quietly fifth in the NBA in 3-point percentage (50.0) and will be playing his second game after a layoff with an ankle injury. He simply got his feet wet in the first one but should be a big factor in the second.
Hachimura is 5-for-7 from the arc in two games against the Suns this season. He had a season-high 20 points in the second of those two encounters on Oct. 28. The sharpshooter played just 22 minutes in his return to action Saturday against Denver but still made multiple 3’s for the eighth time in 11 games.
Opponents hit at a 37.7% clip from long range against Phoenix, higher than all but three other teams in the NBA. With all the weapons around him, Hachimura will find space and drill at least two from the 3-point line.
Bet on Rui Hachimura Over 1.5 3-Pointers (-108)
Question Of The Day
Any other wagers that should cash in at the sportsbook?
The Rockets are getting 3.5 points at Minnesota. Houston is 12-6 against the spread and 7-1 in its last eight. Consider an upset or a very narrow loss to a Timberwolves team trying to figure some things out.
