We were a Naz Reid basket away from a perfect night on Monday, but satisfied with two out of three NBA picks coming to fruition. There are seven games on the docket Tuesday night, including some juicy matchups in Milwaukee, Dallas and Indiana. Plenty of options for the props machine to spit out some winners, so here are a few suggestions:

3 Best NBA Player Props to Bet Today

1. Nikola Vucevic Over 17.5 Points (-141)

Vucevic’s Bulls host the hapless New Orleans Pelicans. One of the Pelicans’ eight wins this season came in the season opener against Chicago, but that seems like a lifetime ago.

New Orleans doesn’t do much to stop opponents. It allows 117.2 points per game and its opponents’ field-goal percentage of 48.4 is the highest in the West. Vucevic had 21 points on 8-for-12 shooting in that first meeting and seems primed for something in that ballpark.

The Bulls big man, who is hounded by trade rumors, averages 20.2 points per game, going over the 17.5 mark on the NBA odds sheet in 28 of 38 games. We just don’t see the Pelicans being the ones to reverse that trend.

Bet on Nikola Vucevic Over 17.5 Points (-141)

2. Tyrese Maxey Under 26.5 Points (-124)

This is a tricky one in that Maxey has had some big games without Joel Embiid in the lineup (he’s out for this one), but he’ll need to do so against the one team that can stifle a guy such as this.

Oklahoma City not only continues to boast league-leading defensive stats in several categories, it has done much of it without Alex Caruso, perhaps its best overall defender. Well, Caruso returns from a long layoff in this one, adding another wing D presence to OKC’s fleet.

The Sixers guard averages 25.8 points per game so he’d need to go over that mark against the league’s best defense to spoil this wager. He’s done that just once in six career matchups with the Thunder, who have held half of their last 14 opponents to under 100 points.

Bet on Tyrese Maxey Under 26.5 Points (-124)

3. D’Angelo Russell Over 15.5 Points (-120)

Keep an eye on the NBA news updates for this one as Russell is questionable with a shin injury that’s kept him out of the last four games. If he plays at Portland tonight we think there could be some high numbers.

In his one game against the Blazers earlier this season (while with the Lakers), Russell went off for a season-high 28 points. The time before, a matchup during the 2023-24 season, he had 34 points.

Russell scored 22 in his first game with the Nets and handed out 11 assists in the second one to offset some rough shooting. Then came the injury and we haven’t seen him since, but it stands to reason he will be firing away for a team that’s depleted with injuries and piling up the losses.

Bet on D’Angelo Russell Over 15.5 Points (-120)

Question Of The Day

Is there a game market NBA bet worth taking?

While we like D’Angelo Russell to have a big game (if healthy), we don’t think the Nets will stick around all that long at Portland, which has been a more competitive team lately.
