Boston Celtics vs Miami Heat | NBA

Odds and Predictions:

Okay, BetUS online betting faithful – the Miami Heat will play host to the Boston Celtics in a rematch of last season’s Eastern Conference finals on Wednesday night. Miami is off to a sluggish start after reaching last season’s NBA Finals while Boston has picked up the pace after a slow start.

With both Eastern Conference championship contenders looking to send an early season message in this conference finals rematch, let’s find out where the best sportsbook betting value lies in this affair.

First though, let’s look at the NBA betting odds on the board right now.

Boston (4-3) vs Miami (2-3)

  • When: Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. ET
  • Where: AmericanAirlines Arena, Miami, FL
  • TV: ESPN
  • NBA Odds: OFF
  • Total: OFF

Let’s take a look at the odds to win the 2021 NBA Conference Championships!

Why Bet On Boston

The Celtics have won three of four following a 1-2 start that included a home blowout loss against Brooklyn on Christmas. Boston avenged its 96-93 road loss against Detroit on Friday by getting past the Pistons 122-120 on Sunday night in their second straight road game against Detroit.

Still-blossoming shooting guard Jaylen Brown scored a team-high 31 points to lead the way to victory while All-Star forward Jayson Tatum added 24 points and 12 assists while scoring the game-winning basket on a short jumper with 2.9 seconds remaining.

“We haven’t been good, especially down the stretch, executing-wise,” said veteran guard Marcus Smart, who added 17 points and eight assists. “We got to our spots, we got the ball where we wanted it, and those two players made great shots and great reads. They won us the game.”

The contest marked Boston’s second pair of consecutive games against the same opponent in the same city this season. Boston averages 111.6  points per game on 48.8% shooting from the field (4th) and 38.6% shooting from beyond the arc (5th). The Celtics allow 112.3 points per game defensively on 48.3% from the field and 37.2% from beyond the arc.

Why Bet On Miami

Miami has dropped two of its last three games including a humbling 93-83 road loss against Dallas on Friday. Bam Adebayo scored a team-high 19 points while veteran Avery Bradley added 15 points. Miami allowed Dallas All-Star forward Luka Doncic to go for 27 points and 14 rebounds for his first double-double of the season.

Heat All-Star forward Jimmy Butler was limited to two points on 0-for-6 shooting from the field in 27 minutes. The Mavericks scored the final nine points of the second quarter to lead by 15 at the break. The Mavs never looked back.

Miami averages an uninspiring 103.4 points per game (28th) on 46.9% from the field and 33.7% from beyond the arc. The Heat allow 111.2 points per game defensively on 44.7% from the field and 40.1% from beyond the arc.

Expert Analysis and Prediction

Miami will be fired up for this conference finals rematch, but right now, the Heat are struggling with inconsistency while trying to find their way in the early going. The Heat were limited to 83 points against a Mavericks team that isn’t good defensively and they allowed Milwaukee to put a mind-boggling 144 points on the board on Dec. 29.

Boston has scored at least 116 points in each of their last three victories and I believe the C’s are going to put up a special effort in this mid-week matchup to let Miami know this isn’t last season. Miami is 2-4 ATS in its last six games, while Boston has won 11 of its last 15 road games.

I like the C’s to get the ‘revenge factor’ win on Wednesday night.

Pick: Boston 101 Miami 95
