Bucks Favored in NBA Money Lines to Take Care of Reeling Raptors

Toronto looks to rebuild momentum after dropping three on the bounce.

Despite losing to Atlanta 127-110 earlier this week, we were impressed by how the Bucks rebounded with a 122-114 win over the Miami Heat.

The sportsbook had them favored to beat the Heat, and we think they’re going to be favored to win the majority of their games.

The team is built for success, and arguably it’s win or bust. Having Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Damian Lillard leaves no room for error.

They are always going to be favored to beat teams such as the Raptors, who were tipped to struggle in 2023, and have lived up to those expectations early.

The Bucks, however, have yet to play away from home. It’s not an easy first road test, but it’s preferable to playing the likes of Boston or Philadelphia.

Milwaukee could be a great team, so the -5½ line is generous considering the amount of scoring ability on the roster.

Raptors Becoming Prehistoric

It might sound harsh, but the Raptors could quickly become a shelved item in the world of the Eastern Conference.

After starting 1-3, with three games being played at home, there isn’t much sign of life in Toronto, especially after losing to Portland 99-91.

It was a dour effort against a moderate Trail Blazers team, and it hasn’t inspired much confidence with betting online markets.

They were in good spirits when beating Minnesota to open the year.

“I’m just glad to get a W,” Dennis Schroder told the media. “They won the championship in 2019, we’re just trying to get that winning culture back on our side.”

“I think [the coach] has been doing a great job since training camp, telling everybody to move the ball, ball movement, body movement, and I’m just glad we won the game.”

That winning feeling has stopped with losses to the Bulls, 76ers and Trail Blazers. It’s not ideal form to prepare for taking on the might of the Bucks.
