Bucks Favored in NBA Money Lines to Take Care of Reeling Raptors

The Milwaukee Bucks are favored to beat the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday in an all-Eastern Conference battle.

NBA betting markets have the Bucks at -5½, which is a fair line given their potential and their win over the Miami Heat.

Toronto looks to rebuild momentum after dropping three on the bounce.

Bucks Building Greatness

Despite losing to Atlanta 127-110 earlier this week, we were impressed by how the Bucks rebounded with a 122-114 win over the Miami Heat.

The sportsbook had them favored to beat the Heat, and we think they’re going to be favored to win the majority of their games.

The team is built for success, and arguably it’s win or bust. Having Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Damian Lillard leaves no room for error.

They are always going to be favored to beat teams such as the Raptors, who were tipped to struggle in 2023, and have lived up to those expectations early.

The Bucks, however, have yet to play away from home. It’s not an easy first road test, but it’s preferable to playing the likes of Boston or Philadelphia.

Milwaukee could be a great team, so the -5½ line is generous considering the amount of scoring ability on the roster.

Raptors Becoming Prehistoric

It might sound harsh, but the Raptors could quickly become a shelved item in the world of the Eastern Conference.

After starting 1-3, with three games being played at home, there isn’t much sign of life in Toronto, especially after losing to Portland 99-91.

It was a dour effort against a moderate Trail Blazers team, and it hasn’t inspired much confidence with betting online markets.

They were in good spirits when beating Minnesota to open the year.

I’m just glad to get a W,” Dennis Schroder told the media. “They won the championship in 2019, we’re just trying to get that winning culture back on our side.”

I think [the coach] has been doing a great job since training camp, telling everybody to move the ball, ball movement, body movement, and I’m just glad we won the game.

That winning feeling has stopped with losses to the Bulls, 76ers and Trail Blazers. It’s not ideal form to prepare for taking on the might of the Bucks.

Bucks vs Raptors Head-to-Head

The Bucks have a 57-45 advantage over the Raptors, but the Raptors won the most recent meeting 121-105 in April. Prior to that, the Bucks had won three consecutive games, with all three games decided by fewer than 10 points.

Bucks vs Raptors Game Picks and Prediction

Predicted Score: Milwaukee Bucks 115, Toronto Raptors 105

Worth Betting Moneyline?

The Bucks are at short odds to win the game outright, so we advise bettors to look at moneyline and NBA over under predictions on Nov. 1 for the best value.

Worth Betting ATS?

We expect the Bucks to flex their muscles and score a comfortable win over the Raptors. Toronto’s offense won’t be able to keep up with the two-headed dragon of Antetokounmpo and Lillard, so covering the -5½ spread shouldn’t be difficult.

NBA Pick: Milwaukee Bucks -6

Worth Betting on the Totals?

We’re picking under 224, mostly because the Raptors have struggled on the offensive end. Their defense has been solid enough, so it could be a classic low-scoring Eastern Conference battle.

NBA Pick: Bucks/Raptors Under 224

Questions Of The Day

Which team offers the better value on the money line in the Bucks vs Raptors game?

The Bucks should have too many weapons for the Raptors, so they are the better money line wager.

What is the best over/under bet for the Bucks vs Raptors game?

Under is the best bet. We expect a low-scoring contest in the Bucks vs Raptors game.
