Celtics Favored to Take Series Lead
After a grueling four games, the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks are tied with two games apiece. As the series returns to Boston, the NBA odds are favoring the Celtics both for Game 5 and the series. Boston, thanks to the stellar play of one of their key players, appears to have Milwaukee solved.
Bucks Keep Running Out of Gas
It was almost deja vu for the Milwaukee Bucks for Game 4 but this time, they let the game get away from them. The Bucks led the Celtics heading to the fourth quarter but were once again outplayed. Milwaukee gave up a series-high 43 points in the fourth and lost.
Antetokounmpo had another all-around performance with 34 points and 18 boards but shot just 43.8 percent from the field and missed half of his 11 free throws. Jrue Holiday did not fare any better as he shot just 5-of-22 and was a game-worst -23.
What is worrying for Milwaukee is how they collapsed in the fourth quarter. In the last two games, they have been outscored by a total of 24 points in the fourth. In Game 4, they let the Celtics hit 16 of their 19 field goal attempts. If the Bucks cannot find a second wind, the series could be over for them.
Celtics’ Real MVP
Just as we predicted, Jayson Tatum bounced back with a vengeance and helped lead the Boston Celtics to a win over the Bucks. As good as Tatum was, scoring 30 points, it was a former All-Star who shined brightest: Al Horford.
Partly driven by Antetokounmpo’s taunt, Horford would put up his best playoff performance as he tied a game-high 30 points on 11-of-14 shooting (5-of-7 from three) and a game-best +20. Horford not only contributed offensively but helped keep Antetokounmpo in check.
This is where the Bucks f*cked up 😂 I know that look… He was pissed.

Expect the Bucks to include Horford in their adjusted game plans moving forward, but so long as the versatile center finds ways to get involved on offense, the Celtics should be worth betting online.
Bucks vs Celtics Head-to-Head
The Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics are even at 5-5 in their last 10 games against each other although Boston has covered nine of these 10 games. The one game Milwaukee did cover happened in Boston, which was a Game 1 win. The Celtics are favored to win the series at -210.

Bucks vs Celtics Prediction
It was a good fight from the Milwaukee Bucks as they battled the Boston Celtics hard despite the absence of Khris Middleton. But it’s evident that the Celtics just have too much firepower and the Bucks are too dependent on Antentoukounmpo, whose FG% is at 44.7 percent.
Milwaukee will need more efficient performances from Holiday and Wesley Matthews while Brook Lopez needs to get going to help cancel out Horford’s production. It will be tough as Boston has adapted to Milwaukee’s defensive schemes and adjusting has not been a strength for Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer. Take the Celtics and the points on the sportsbook.
