Knicks Brace for Rematch vs Bucks

New York Looks to Make it Two in Row Over Reigning NBA Champions

The New York Knicks and Milwaukee Bucks square off for the second time in a week on Wednesday.

New York got the better of the Bucks with a 113-98 in Milwaukee and the sportsbook has it favored to win again at Madison Square Garden.

Julius Randle, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kemba Walker are all in action, so it promises to be a thriller.

Bucks Back on Track

We knew it wouldn’t take long for the Bucks to get back to their winning ways. They came from behind to beat the weakened Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday, which was a much-needed victory.

The Bucks would have fallen to 4-7 with a loss, but they’re back on track and ready to give the Knicks a real test.

Antetokounmpo had 31 points and 16 rebounds, and he was assisted by Grayson Allen, who had 25 points.

“Always feels good to get a win,” Antetokounmpo told ESPN. “I was just trying to be competitive and trying to do whatever it takes to get a win. That’s what my team wants me to do, that’s what my team needs me to do.”

The Greek Freak earned the praise of coach Mike Budenholzer, who said he took his game to another level when needed.

“I think he had that extra competitiveness tonight,” Budenholzer said. “He made some plays that are special. He can do some unique things, and he did it multiple times tonight. There was just that extra desire, that extra competitive gear that he needed, that we needed.”

NBA lines have the Bucks as +4 underdogs, which is likely due to being on a back-to-back on the road. It’s a tough situation for a team that has been struggling for confidence.

Knicks Ready, Waiting

The last week hasn’t been stellar for the New York Knicks, but they got the job done against the 76ers last time on court.

Playing a 76ers team without Joel Embiid is made significantly easier, but New York knocked down late shots to record a 103-96 victory.

Randle is starting to look incredible and his confidence levels have risen to an all-time high. He might be averaging only 22.5 points, but the ball is going to him in the big situations and he loves it.

Betting online markets could see action come for the Knicks at the -4 line. They are a public-heavy team, so it could be worth locking in.

The Knicks have a slightly better record against the spread at 6-5, compared to the 5-6 record of the Bucks. The Bucks are 0-4 ATS in their last four games playing back-to-backs, so that favors the home side.

Bucks vs Knicks Pick

Our NBA betting expert predictions have the Knicks winning and covering the -4 spread.

While they’re not a polished product just yet, we loved what we saw late against the 76ers. The Knicks handled the pressure with aplomb, and that should give them the confidence needed to beat the defending NBA champions.

We’re not discounting the ability of the Bucks, but without Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez, it becomes increasingly difficult to win consistently.

Pick: New York Knicks -4
