Cavaliers vs Heat Prediction, Picks and Odds for NBA Playoff Game 3

Cavaliers vs Heat Prediction, Picks and Odds for NBA Playoff Game 3
Darius Garland #10 of the Cleveland Cavaliers |

The Cleveland Cavaliers are a road favorite in the NBA playoffs betting as they try to take a stranglehold on the first-round series against the Miami Heat on Saturday.

The top-seeded Cavaliers rolled to a 121-100 win in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference series and were challenged in Game 2 before earning a 121-112 triumph. Cleveland is the second favorite in the odds (+175) to win the conference at BetUS sportsbook.

Miami shot 50.3 percent combined from the field in the first two games, but turned the ball over 14 times in each. If the Heat are more efficient, it should be a close game.

Cavaliers vs Heat Playoffs Prediction

Cavaliers 116, Heat 112

Miami will let it all hang out in this contest and be in it until the end, but Cleveland did not go 64-18 — 30-11 on the road– during the regular season by being lucky. If you want to be aggressive, this is the one game the Heat could win. However, you’d be better off to take the points.

Cavaliers vs Heat Best NBA Player Props Today

  • Bam Adebayo 38+ Points, Rebounds, Assists (+124)

MIami’s big man was held to 11 points in Game 2, but Bam Adebayo accumulated 14 rebounds and nine assists. We expect the multi-talented player to step up as the Heat make a big stand in this contest. Miami’s odds to win the NBA series may not be good, but we expect the Heat to compete on Saturday.

Bet on Bam Adebayo 38+ points, rebounds, assists (+124)

  • Darius Garland 7+ Assists (+122)

Cleveland’s key ball handler dished out nine assists in Game 2 and has plenty of shooters to finish off his passes. Darius Garland averaged 6.7 assists in the regular season – the same amount for his career – so we think he can get to at least seven in Game 3. Garland has 48 points in the first two games, but he’ll have the time to post assists as well.

Bet on Darius Garland 7+ assists (+122)

  • Ty Jerome 3+ Made 3-Pointers (+210)

Ty Jerome finished the season hot, scored 28 points in Game 1 and went cold in the last contest. But he should be back on target Saturday and you are getting decent odds. The 6-foot-5 Cavs guard has hit at least three from behind the arc in five of his last seven outings. That might be a good NBA betting trend to follow.

Bet on Ty Jerome 3+ made 3-pointers (+210)

Cavaliers vs Heat Moneyline Pick

Cleveland pulled away in the final quarter in Game 1 and Donovan Mitchell’s late exploits saved the Cavs in Game 2. The Cavaliers should be settled into the series and will find ways down the stretch. This one will probably be the toughest game of the series to win, but the Cavaliers are +550 in the NBA futures odds to win the championship. They will pull it out.

Bet on Cavaliers ML (-240)

Cavaliers vs Heat Spread Pick

Miami got into the NBA play-in round despite finishing the regular season eight games under .500. However, the Heat did split two games with Cleveland in Miami during the regular season and Tyler Herro has been outstanding in the series (27.0 ppg). If Adebayo, Andrew Wiggins and Davion Mitchell – among others – can contribute, the Heat should make it tight.

Bet on Heat +6 (-110)

Cavaliers vs Heat Over/Under Pick

Over bettors scored in the first two games and the number appears low enough for them to get to the pay window again for NBA picks. Cleveland led the league in scoring offense during the regular season with Mitchell, Garland and Evan Mobley leading the way. We expect both teams to get up and down the floor in a game that might determine the length of the series.

Bet on Cavaliers vs Heat Over 213 ½ (-110)
