Milwaukee Bucks Favored to Take 2-1 Series Lead
After fexofen Game 2, the Milwaukee Bucks return to the Fiserv Forum as the favorites on the NBA betting lines. The Bucks let the Celtics light them up in the first half and it was too little too late when Milwaukee fought back as Boston ran away with the game. The Bucks must have a more complete effort in Milwaukee if they care about a commanding lead.
A Tale of Two Halves for The Boston Celtics
After being embarrassed in Game 1, the Boston Celtics got fired up and took it to Milwaukee quickly. They outscored the Bucks 65 to 40 in the first half whilst shooting 65 percent from deep with Jaylen Brown leading the way as he went a perfect 5-of-5 from three.

The second half resembled the Celtics of Game 1 more. Boston, once again, struggled from the field and shot just 30.4 percent from three (and 36.6 percent from the field). Fortunately, the defense held steady as it kept the Bucks, outside of Giannis Antetokounmpo, irrelevant.
The return of Marcus Smart should only help bolster Boston’s defensive proficiency, however, if he is still feeling the effects of his injuries, he may also be a liability on offense. Smart will need to pace Boston from the beginning if Boston looks to cash in as an underdog on the sportsbook.
Milwaukee Bucks Prepping for a Home Cooking
You can’t take much solace after getting beaten by 23 points. But the Boston Celtics will not be hitting threes like Steph Curry at a charity game again. At least, if the Milwaukee Bucks do not start half-asleep again and they proved in the second half of Game 2 that it won’t.
Milwaukee can win games even if its offense has been poor in this series. Credit goes to Boston, which has made life tough for anyone outside of Antetokounmpo. Even the “Greek Freak” himself had an “off night” in Game 1.
The Bucks did hold a 119.6 offensive rating against Boston at home, which was the fourth-best in the league. But this was with Middleton. If anything, we can be confident that the Bucks will keep Game 3 another grueling and low-scoring affair as we predicted in Game 2.
Celtics vs Bucks Head-to-Head
The Milwaukee Bucks are back to being underdogs to win the series at +105 after moving to be favorites after Game 1, however, the Boston Celtics’ only losses in their last 11 games have come against the Bucks.

Celtics vs Bucks Prediction
The Game 2 score can be misleading but looking at six of the last eight quarters, this series has been the definition of a tight matchup. Both the Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics have elite defenses and they fight for every possession. This can make for some ugly shooting nights from both ends.
The difference here is that Milwaukee has Giannis Antetokounmpo. The two-time MVP has been near-impossible to contain and he should be able to carry the Bucks. Both Brown and Jayson Tatum have a tough time scoring once again. Bet online on the Bucks and the under as Milwaukee makes it eight straight games for this trend.
