Miami Eye Clincher
NBA betting prop markets are available for Game 4 between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat on Tuesday.
It could be the final time we see them compete, with the Heat holding a 3-0 series lead and playing Game 4 at home.
The sportsbook has the Heat at -1½, but there is plenty of value to be snapped up with prop betting markets.
Butler to Lead by Example
NBA lines have many options for Jimmy Butler, who could have a big Game 4 in front of a home crowd.
The Heat leader has been inspirational in the Eastern Conference finals so far, and although he wasn’t at his best in Game 3, we expect him to bounce back and lead by example.
Sport betting markets have Butler at 41½ for points, assists, and rebounds, which is a great line. He scored 31 points in Game 2 and 47 in Game 1, so he has hit the mark throughout the series.
He received attention for his scuffle with Grant Williams in Game 2, which showed a level of respect for Butler.
“When people talk to me, I’m like, ‘OK, I know I’m a decent player, if you want to talk to me out of everybody that you can talk to,’” Butler said. “But it’s just competition. I do respect him, though. He’s a big part of what they try to do. He switches. He can shoot the ball. I just don’t know if I’m the best person to talk to.“
We expect a big performance in a close-out situation for Butler.
Lowry Ready for Impact
Heat point guard Kyle Lowry hasn’t had much of an impact in the finals so far, but he could break out for a big showing.
He played 28 minutes and scored seven points on Sunday, but he looked better in Game 1 when scoring 15 points.
NBA odds have Lowry at 16½ for points, assists, and rebounds, and we expect him to be firing on all cylinders.
He’s a key part of the Heat’s success despite playing on limited minutes. If any of the role players get in foul trouble, he’ll come on and spark the offense.
Lowry is too good to have minimal impact in the Eastern Conference finals, so we’re confident of putting him in our NBA selections.
Tatum Getting Tired?
Online gambling odds have Boston’s Jayson Tatum at 45½, but after a terrible performance in Game 3, we can’t see him improving too much.
He looks tired and out of ideas against a tough Miami defense, and after scoring just 14 points with 10 rebounds and two assists in Game 3, we pick him to go under the number again.
Even if he gets off to a hot start and NBA live betting markets trim the Celtics’ odds, he has been getting tired in the final quarter. It’s not what you want to see from an All-Star player, but he’s being expected to carry most of the offense for the Celtics.
Former Celtic Kendrick Perkins, who is known for his suspect opinions, believes Tatum and Jaylen Brown should separate.
“It’s time to break up the duo and I’m saying it with the utmost confidence,” Perkins said. “They don’t complement each other well. I have never seen Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown link up one time [during the summers]. And so all good things have to come to an end.
“If I’m the Celtics, after this series — because I believe that the Miami Heat is gonna close this out in Game 4 — I have to reevaluate some things.”
