Celtics vs Heat Game 7, Predictions, Preview, Live Stream, Odds & Picks, May 29
Blame It on Draymond Green
The Boston Celtics appeared to have the Miami Heat where they wanted them in Game 6. The Cs were home and Miami was struggling big time. Jimmy Butler and Kyle Lowry had been injured and ineffective.
Then, Draymond Green said he was looking forward to the Golden State Warriors playing and Celtics in The NBA Finals and that provided the spark Miami needed. Butler was unstoppable and Lowry had his best game of the series. The result was Miami forced a Game 7 and now has the homecourt edge in a game to decide what team will face the Warriors for the NBA Championship.

Silent Stars
It is hard to explain what became of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown in the second half of Game 6. The Celtics’ star duo basically vanished. They attempted only 7 shots in the second half. Seven! They somehow combined for 50 points but were not there when the game came down to crunch time. If the Boston Celtics hope to advance to play Golden State, they have to get more out of this duo in the second half of Game 7.
Stat that will make no one feel good:
Jaylen Brown & Jayson Tatum in the first half: 36 points on 12-of-18 shooting
Jaylen Brown & Jayson Tatum in the second half: 14 points on 3-of-7 shooting.
How do your two best players combine for just 7 FGAs in a half of a closeout game?

Heat vs Celtics Head-to-Head
The teams finally played a close one in Game 6. Will the tension of a Game 7 lead to another tight contest or will the Heat or Celtics enjoy another blowout. Romps dominated the series until the last game.

Heat vs Celtics Prediction
The Heat are at home but will the injured and hobbled Butler and Lowry be able to deliver another masterful performance on little rest. Tatum and Brown can’t play any quieter than they did in the second half of Game 6. NBA odds at BetUS still like the road team despite the Celtics’ failure to close out the Heat on their home court. Look for a low-scoring game but the Celtics will find a way to win.
Pick: Boston Celtics -2½ (-110)
