The Knicks haven’t shot much better, but they’ve kept attacking the rim and midrange. Still, despite Boston being ice cold, I don’t see them dropping three straight, even on the road. Don’t get me wrong, New York won’t make it easy, but the reigning champs are due. For my NBA game predictions, I’ve got Boston taking this one.

Knicks C Karl-Anthony Towns might be the best shooting big, but it’s his rebounding that’s helped New York stretch the series lead, and I’m counting on him to hammer the boards and hit over 11.5 boards for one of my NBA player props today. It’s not rocket science: he’s cleared that mark in the last two, and with Boston firing up bricks from deep again, who’s grabbing those misses? Back Towns on the glass.

Al Horford Under 7.5 Points (-113)
Keeping the big man theme going, another NBA player prop I like is Celtics C Al Horford to finish under 8 points. Don’t act surprised, the veteran has taken a back seat this series, and if Boston wants to win, you can bet he won’t see much offensive action. Sure, he might knock down a pair of triples, but I’m not expecting more than that. Low volume, low usage – take the under and don’t overthink it.

The Knicks’ offense has shown their role guys can step up in crunch time, and I like SG Josh Hart staying hot and hitting over 12.5 points. The latest NBA news is predicting him to cool off, but I’m not buying it. Hart’s quietly taken on a bigger scoring role in this offense with back-to-back 20-point games, and if New York wants to keep their foot on the gas, he’ll have to stay aggressive.

I expect this game to be a punch-for-punch shootout, but I just can’t imagine the reigning champs going down 3-0. New York salted away the last two, but I’m betting the roles reverse tonight. Count on Boston to wake up, play desperate, and get it done. Bet the Celtics on the moneyline.

This is a must-win for Boston, possibly staring down a 3-0 deficit. And while I like their chances to win, this feels like one of those neck-and-neck NBA matchups. So, I’m fading Boston on the spread and rolling with New York. Hear me out: the last two games were decided by three points or fewer, and now the Knicks are at home. You’re telling me you wouldn’t take the 5.5 points? I’m all over it.
