The Boston Celtics are -4.5 favorites with NBA playoffs betting lines against the Orlando Magic on Friday night. Boston leads the series 2-0. An upset could be brewing, though, with Celtics star Jayson Tatum questionable to play because of a wrist injury. He missed Game 2.

The NBA championship odds shortened for the Celtics following a Game 2 win at home, but that could change on Friday. Despite facing the defending champions, the Magic could come out to play, and some of their role players couldn’t have played much worse when losing 109-100. Returning home could be the catalyst for the Magic to keep it close, and my NBA betting picks are confident the Magic can deliver.

• Leg 2: Celtics vs Magic Over 198 Points (-110)

I haven’t seen an NBA line under 200 points for a long time, especially when they scored 209 points last time on the court. Tatum being out caused the line to shorten, but it should still be a good game offensively, and it could be around the same score as Game 2. Bettors should climb on the line, and it’s one of my top NBA prop bets today.

• Leg 3: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Over 7.5 Points (-112)

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had a shocker in Game 2, scoring three points on 1-of-9 shooting. He went 0-6 from behind the 3-point line, but we’re sticking with the Magic player.

He can’t play any worse after going 3 for 14 during this series, and he was acquired by the Magic to make timely buckets in the corner. He knows there is pressure on him, but playing at home could be the fix.

The 7.5 line is worth including in NBA predictions today, and he could score in double digits if he makes one early.

• Leg 4: Paolo Banchero Double-Double +1289

Included in my NBA player prop picks is Paolo Banchero double-double. He has scored well throughout the playoffs, but it’s now time for him to take over the game at all levels.

He went close to a double-double in Game 2, scoring 32 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists. He will easily score 10+ points, so bettors only need to worry about rebounding. I expect the Celtics to miss a lot of shots, so getting 10 boards shouldn’t be too hard.
