Same Game Parlay Picks for Celtics vs Nets

1. Nets (+8½)

The Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets faced off just over a week ago, where Brooklyn stunned us by taking the game to overtime and keeping it within four points, ultimately losing 108-104. With that in mind, and now with home court advantage, I’m taking the Nets +8½ NBA betting line all day. While the Boston Celtics continue to show their strength on both ends of the court – whether at home or on the road – the Nets have proven they can go the distance.

Do I think Brooklyn will win this game? Let’s not go that far. The Celtics are the clear powerhouse here, leading the league with 18.5 3-pointers per game and come fully loaded with elite scoring talent. Led by SF Jayson Tatum, averaging 29.7 points and 7.5 rebounds per game, and SG Jaylen Brown, adding 25.6 points and 6.6 rebounds.

But Brooklyn isn’t here to be written off. Leading the way for the Nets is none other than SG Cam Thomas, who’s averaging a team-high 24.5 points per game and shooting an impressive 43.4% from the floor. He’s backed by veteran PG Dennis Schroder, dropping 19.5 points and 6.2 assists per game. Rounding out their top scorers is SF sharpshooter Cam Johnson, adding 17.2 points per game while shooting a solid 40.5% from 3-point land in home games.

So, this Brooklyn Nets team is nothing to shrug off. With their gritty performance last time against Boston, taking Brooklyn at +8½ is a solid bet. Expect another close contest, especially with the Nets getting the home court advantage.

Bet This Pick: Nets +8.5

2. Celtics vs Nets Total Over 218

In the last matchup between the Celtics and Nets, the final score landed at 212 points. This time around, I’m taking the over, with the final score surpassing 218 points. You might be asking, “Jeremy, what makes you so confident?” Don’t worry, I have my reasons.

For one, the Celtics are no strangers to scoring big. With their league-leading 3-point shooting and offensive depth, they can rack up points in a hurry. But don’t count out the Nets. Brooklyn is shooting 45.9% from the floor as a team this year.

Another factor to consider is the return of Brown, who was not active the last time these teams went head-to-head. Now that he’s back, the Boston Celtics’ offense just got a major boost.

Between Boston’s offensive versatility and Brooklyn’s ability to hit shots, this game has all the ingredients for a higher-scoring finish. My NBA over/under prediction is for this game to finish with more than 218 points.

Bet This Pick: Celtics vs Nets Over 218
