Cross-Sport Parlay: Going Big on “Championship Szn!”

Stacking Champions and Soon-To-Be Champions

There are a set of championship events happening over the weekend. Beginning Friday with the NBA Finals, athletes will win gold or take that next step to winning one. Stay updated beginning with the NBA news as we kick off the parlay with Game 4 between Denver and Miami.

Weekend Best Bets to Parlay

NBA: Nuggets (-160) vs Heat (+140)

  • Total: Over 210½ (-110), Under 210½ (-110)
  • Day/Time: Friday, June 9, 8:30 p.m. ET
  • Nuggets vs Heat Live stream: NBA Game Pass

Denver made a statement by heading into the heart of “Heat Culture” and beating them at their own game. Of course, Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray had to post some historic numbers. Don’t expect Jokic or Murray to slow. They are the rightful NBA picks here as it’s clear that Miami has no answers for either.

Michael Malone is a tough coach that Erik Spoelstra can’t coach circles around him. As good of a story as Miami has been, their run is ending. Bet online on the Nuggets to go up 3-1 as the Heat continue to grasp at straws figuring out Denver’s offense.

NHL: Golden Knights (+105) vs Panthers (-120)

  • Total: Over 6 (Ev), Under 6 (-120)
  • Day/Time: Saturday, June 10, 8:00 p.m. ET
  • Golden Knights vs PanthersLive stream: NHL.TV

The Panthers may have used all nine of their lives to somehow beat the Golden Knights in Game 3. Vegas was 2 1/2 minutes from going up 3-0 on the series but playoff heroes Matthew Tkachuk and Carter Verhaeghe got it done.

It’s unlikely for Florida to pull this off again. The Knights outplayed them and will continue to do so. The stars aligned for Florida to pull out its first Stanley Cup victory. Good for the Panthers. But Vegas will come back with a vengeance for Game 4. Seeing the NHL lines, spotting Vegas at 1½ goals on the puck line is a steal. It’s worth adding to the parlay.

Tennis: Swiatek (-900) vs Muchova (+550)

  • Total: Over 18½ (-115) vs Under 18½ (-105)
  • Day/Time: Saturday, June 10, 5:00 a.m. ET
  • Swiatek vs Muchova Live Stream: TennisTV

Iga Swiatek is on her way to another French Open title. Was there any doubt? The world number one has powered through the tournament with relative ease. And thanks to Aryna Sabalenka choking to Karolina Muchova, Swiatek is a whopping favorite to beat the unseeded challenger. There’s still a bit of value throwing Swiatek on a parlay, at least.

Boxing: Taylor (-190) vs Lopez (+160)

  • Total: Over 10½ (-220), Under 10½ (+180)
  • Weight Class (Rounds): WBO Junior Lightweight Championship, 140 lbs. (12 Rounds)
  • Day/Time: Saturday, June 3, 11:15 p.m. ET
  • Taylor vs Lopez Live stream: Box Live

Josh Taylor is ready for a star-making performance on national TV this Saturday night. We can thank his last performance, a controversial decision victory over Jack Catterall, for his discounted online sports betting line here. Taylor is bigger than Lopez and is a southpaw like Sandor Martin, who gave Lopez all kinds of issues. He should beat Lopez to retain his belts.

UFC: Nunes (-350) vs Aldana (+250)

  • Total: Over 2½ (-130), Under 2½ (Ev)
  • Weight Class (Rounds): Women’s Bantamweight Championship, 135 lbs. (5 Rounds)
  • Day/Time: Saturday, June 3, 11:55 p.m. ET
  • Nunes vs Aldana Live stream: UFC Fight Pass

And on to the UFC, Amanda Nunes should find a way to beat Irene Aldana. Folks online are steaming the challenger’s line on the sportsbook. But other than boxing, Aldana has no advantages over Nunes. Even if Nunes is not in her physical prime anymore, she’s also savvier and can wrestle down Aldana. If Holly Holm can look like a top-tier wrestler against her, imagine what Nunes would do? But instead of betting Nunes straight, take the over 2½ rounds for a better deal.

Parlay: Nuggets ML, Golden Knights +1½, Swiatek ML, Taylor, and Nunes-Aldana Over (+579)
