Domantas Sabonis Headlines March 20’s Best NBA Player Props

This is my favorite time of the season to make NBA predictions. We know which teams are motivated to win and which are starting to look forward to the offseason and 2025. This is extremely important when betting on the NBA.

I’m back breaking down Wednesday’s terrific eight-game slate and looking to cash a sweep with my best NBA bets. Before I get into that, here’s what you might have missed after the NBA provided another entertaining night on Tuesday.

Tuesday NBA Recap

All five favorites won outright on Tuesday. The Magic took care of business at home against the Hornets, improving their record to 11-3 since the All-Star break. Paolo Banchero played limited minutes in the blowout, and we lost his PRA wager. The Houston Rockets obliterated the Wizards 137-114 behind a 42-point game from Jalen Green and we cashed on Fred VanVleet’s assists total.

The Western Conference standings continue to shake up every night. The Pelicans and Zion Williamson soared to their seventh win in eight games in March.

The Mavericks escaped San Antonio with a win despite Luka Doncic’s poor shooting night. The Denver Nuggets defeated the shorthanded Timberwolves in an exciting battle that went down to the wire.

Wednesday night’s schedule features eight matchups and some high-profile head-to-heads. Most notably, the Celtics are set to host the Bucks in a litmus test for the top seeds in the Eastern Conference as we approach the playoffs.

There are tons of NBA odds to sift through Wednesday, but I’ve done the research, so you don’t have to.

Let’s get to the best NBA picks tonight!

Best NBA Player Props Today

1. Thunder PF Chet Holmgren Over 1½ Made Threes (-106)

Oklahoma City takes the floor against the Utah Jazz. Chet Holmgren has fallen behind Victor Wembanyama in the NBA Rookie of the Year odds race, but it’s not because he hasn’t been putting up solid numbers. The point spread for this matchup is up to 15 in favor of OKC, which suggests a blowout, so we’ll likely need this to cash in the first three quarters.

Holmgren has made at least two 3-pointers in three straight, averaging 1.7 made threes per game this season. The Jazz have been susceptible to teams who can knock down shots from beyond the arc. Utah has allowed the fourth-most three-point attempts, the most 3-pointers made per game, and the highest opponent shooting percentage from downtown (39.8%). The Jazz also give up the most threes per game to opposing power forwards (3.16). Utah has the second-worst defensive rating in the NBA, and they have already announced that Lauri Markakanen is out tonight. This is a smash spot for Chet!

2. Suns C Jusuf Nurkic Over 11½ Rebounds (-115)

The 76ers head out West tonight for a four-game road trip. I expect the Suns to bounce back and roll the Sixers, and Jusuf Nurkic will make his mark. He has exceeded this line in two of his last three games, including a 21 and 22-rebound game. Since the All-Star break, he has been over this line in 7 of 12, including a franchise-record 31-rebound performance at home against the Thunder.

In the previous meeting with Philadelphia, he pulled down 9 rebounds in just 23 minutes, but the Sixers had Joel Embiid. The 76ers lack the size and interior defense to slow down the Phoenix center tonight. The Suns won’t mess around tonight. Since the start of February, when Embiid went down, the Sixers have allowed the fourth-most rebounds per game.

3. Kings PF Domantas Sabonis Over 21½ Points (-114)

I haven’t found many spots where I was comfortable backing Domantas Sabonis this season because his betting lines are typically inflated. Still, the Kings will take on a depleted Raptors team and the big Lithuanian will dominate! Sabonis is playing himself into the MVP conversation, and he has exceeded this line in four of his last six games. The Raptors now have the seventh-worst defensive rating in the league.

The Raptors will likely be without All-Star Scottie Barnes for the rest of the season and are in full-tank mode. Toronto is also without Jakob Poeltl, RJ Barrett, and Immanuel Quickley tonight. Sabonis scored 24 points in the first matchup with the Raptors this season, and Toronto is allowing the seventh-most points per game in the paint.
