Miami Heat vs Charlotte Hornets

When: Friday, March 26, 7 p.m, ET

Where: Spectrum Center, Charlotte, NC

Analysis: Miami added Victor Oladipo to its already talented roster, but we don’t think he’ll be playing.

The Miami Heat needed to make a big-money move and they achieved it. After dropping to 22-22 following four consecutive losses, Miami was desperate to change something about the 2021 season.

Last season’s finalists have been treading water and the likes of Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro, and Duncan Robinson haven’t been nearly as energetic.

Charlotte bounced back from the loss of LaMelo Ball by producing back-to-back wins. The Hornets defeated San Antonio and Houston on the road, so it was a successful end to the long road trip.

Boasting a 12-8 record at Spectrum Center, the Hornets won’t be easy to beat and with all the moving parts in Miami, it will be a hard game to frame for our online sportsbook.

We think Miami will have a more successful season compared to Charlotte. However, the Hornets are the better bet here.

The Charlotte Hornets have their confidence levels up after consecutive wins and playing at home is a positive this season.

Bettors will get value odds to kick off the NBA Friday parlay.

Pick: Hornets 117, Heat 112

Denver Nuggets vs New Orleans Pelicans

When: Friday, March 26, 7 p.m, ET

Where: Smoothie King Center, New Orleans, LA

Analysis: The New Orleans Pelicans held onto Lonzo Ball and that is an excellent sign for the 2021 season.

The point guard is needed for the Pelicans to have a chance at making the playoffs, which is within the realm of possibility at 19-24.

New Orleans has been helped by recent success, including a two-game winning run over Denver and the Los Angeles Lakers. The win over the Denver Nuggets came by five points in Denver, so it’s every chance to win the return game on Friday.

A team with the likes of Zion Williamson, Ball, and Brandon Ingram should be five games below .500, so expect the Pelican’s form to trend positively.

Denver has been scuffling a touch of late, including losses to New Orleans and Toronto. Wednesday’s loss to Toronto came by 24 points and it was a poor outing. It will need to rebound to stand a chance on Friday.

Denver is a quality team that can go through rough patches, and this could be one of them.

New Orleans has confidence after a two-game winning streak and that could be all it needs to kick on with it.

Playing at home is ideal and the Pelicans are another NBA betting value team to include in the parlay.

Pick: Pelicans 113, Nuggets 111

Memphis Grizzlies vs Utah Jazz

When: Friday, March 26, 8 p.m, ET

Where: Vivint Smart Home Arena, Salt Lake City, UT

Analysis: Memphis is doing all it can to stay in the playoff hunt after winning three on the bounce. The Grizzlies are only 1.5 games back of Dallas in the Southwest, so they’re within striking distance.

The recent wins came over the Golden State Warriors, Boston Celtics, and Oklahoma City Thunder, so they were all credible opponents. The 132-126 overtime win against Boston was top-notch and it suggested they’re good enough to cause an upset.

Beating the Utah Jazz at home isn’t easy, as 17 opponents have found out. The Jazz are 17-2 at home and they dispatched the second-string Nets 118-88 on Wednesday.

They are 6-4 from the last 10 games and the Jazz have a 6.5-game advantage over Denver in the Northwest standings. It’s a sizable break, but they don’t want to take their foot off the gas pedal.

The Memphis Grizzlies are good enough to test the Utah Jazz, but we are sticking with the home team.

There are no weak spots for the Jazz, which includes the three-headed attack of Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, and Mike Conley.

NBA lines will have Utah as the firm favorites and it shouldn’t let bettors down as the last leg of the parlay.

Pick: Jazz 124, Grizzlies 112
