Go to Towns for Game 5 NBA Player Props Tonight

Our NBA playoffs analysis has been an exhilarating and profitable journey. With a commendable 43– 27 record on our NBA player prop bets, we’ve consistently delivered insightful predictions. We continued our winning streak on Tuesday with another 2-1 day. The elusive sweep may have evaded us, but our track record speaks for itself.

Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, and the Boston Celtics await the Timberwolves-Mavericks series winner. After they failed to complete the sweep, Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving will attempt to put the Timberwolves season to bed tonight.

Minnesota is desperate to accomplish what no other team has done before in the NBA playoffs. No team in the history of the NBA has come back from a 3-0 series deficit. Only 11 of 155 have forced a Game 6 in this scenario. The odds are stacked against Minnesota!

We have a thrilling showdown on Thursday night as the Western Conference finals continue at 8:30 p.m. ET on TNT. Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves are desperately trying to continue their season. This series has had plenty of nail-biting drama, and I expect nothing less tonight.

My NBA predictions have been red-hot, so let’s keep the excitement rolling with the best NBA player props for Thursday’s Timberwolves vs. Mavericks.

Best Player Props Mavericks vs. Timberwolves

Timberwolves C Karl-Anthony Towns Over 2½ Made Threes (+141)

If you’ve been riding with me this NBA season, you’ll know how much I enjoy a 3-point prop at plus money! Karl-Anthony Towns is the reason we even have a Game 5 tonight. Basketball is a rhythm sport, and KAT found his groove in the fourth quarter of Game 4.

In a win-or-go-home scenario for his team on his home floor, I expect his hot shooting to roll over into tonight’s game. Towns shot 4 of 5 from beyond the arc in the last game and silenced many of the critics. His performance tonight will determine if he was happy with quieting the noise for one game or if he has the killer mentality we all hope to see in a player.

Towns had his second-best year shooting from beyond the arc in his career, knocking down 41.6% this season. Only in the 2017-18 season was he better, at 42.1%. In this series, he knocked down at least three shots from beyond the arc in only Game 4, but he hasn’t been shy about letting it fly. During the regular season against Dallas, he shot 4 of 6, 3 of 9, 2 of 6 and 1 of 3 from deep.

He has splashed at least three shots from downtown in six of his final 10 games, playing at least 30 minutes at home during the season. He has made at least three triples in three of his last six overall matchups with Dallas. We should see plenty of Kyle Anderson, one of the most underrated off-ball screeners in the league, again on the floor. This will lead to KAT getting more open looks on the perimeter.

I expect KAT and Anthony Edwards to produce in front of their home crowd at least one more time. Dallas allowed the fourth-most threes per game to opposing centers. Count on Towns to let it fly tonight!

Here’s a look at some NBA Odds to consider!

Timberwolves C Rudy Gobert to Record a Double-Double (-124)

History isn’t on Minnesota’s side after going down 0-3 in this series, but the recent trends in Game 5s of the conference finals suggest they have a real shot at becoming the 12th team in 155 chances to force a Game 6. Favorites have gone 14-3 and the better seed is 13-4 in the most recent Game 5s.

We cashed on a Rudy Gobert double-double in Game 4, and I’m firing up the Eiffel Tower again tonight. I couldn’t talk you off backing Anthony Edwards to go over his 27½ points betting line with Minnesota’s back against the wall, but I see the role players making an impact.

Gobert has posted decent stat lines through the series’ first three games. He finished with 12 points and seven rebounds in Game 1, 16 points and 10 rebounds in Game 2, nine and six in Game 3 and 13 and 10 in the last game.

Gobert has six double-doubles in 14 playoff games thus far. However, I like his chances of stuffing the stat sheet against the Mavs again. Gobert has an 8.4 +/- on the floor in the playoffs, which is the fourth-highest of any player in the NBA. Boston’s Jayson Tatum leads the playoffs at 10.1 +/-.

Gobert averaged 12.9 rebounds and 14 points this season. The Mavericks acquired Daniel Gafford from the Washington Wizards at the trade deadline and his athleticism has caused some issues in this series. Entering this series, Gobert had a double-double in seven of eight appearances against Gafford.

The Mavs announced that rookie Derrick Lively could return after he missed Game 4. I expect the Wolves to be in this game again tonight and Gobert will do enough to finish with a double-double.

Dallas allowed the third-most rebounds per game during the regular season despite adding Gafford and PJ Washington to the rotation. Gobert leads this series with 20.8 rebound chances per game. I trust Gobert to get the job done in Game 5 and be the anchor we’ve grown accustomed to watching.

Stay ahead in the game with unbeatable NBA game odds and NBA lines.

Timberwolves SG Nickeil Alexander-Walker Over 4½ Points (-114)

Nickeil Alexander-Walker is a crucial player off the bench for the Wolves. We cashed with NAW in Game 4, and I’m going right back to him tonight in Game 5! He played just 16 minutes in Game 1 and finished with two points on 1-of-6 from the field and 0-for-4 from 3-point land.

In Game 2, he played 14 minutes but knocked down two shots from beyond the arc. In Game 3, he played for 20 minutes but scored just three points. In Game 4, he was down to 13 minutes off the bench but knocked won 2 of 5 from three, finishing with six points.

I expect the Wolves to come out early with desperation again, and they will need NAW’s scoring off the bench. The Mavericks have a significant weakness in defending corner threes. They allowed the fourth-most corner threes made per game. NAW buried the most corner threes this season for the T-Wolves and shot a good percentage of 44.5%!

He was over this line in 60 of 82 games during the regular season (73%) and has exceeded this number in 11 of 15 playoff games thus far. I’m expecting Alexander-Walker to make an impact off the bench. Take NAW on the sportsbook again tonight.
