1. Utah Jazz ATS (+6½)

There’s no doubt the Atlanta Hawks are rolling into this game as the favorites, but with injuries hitting both teams hard, I’m backing the Utah Jazz and the points. Sure, the Hawks have shown they can get it done on the road – but let’s be real. They’re coming off three straight road losses, and nothing about this matchup game screams, “easy bounce-back.”

Not to mention, with Hawks PG guard Trae Young listed as probable (22.5 points per game) and SF Jalen Johnson (19.8 points per game) ruled out (per updated Hawks vs Jazz injuries), the Hawks will be without their go-to offensive production. And while the Jazz aren’t exactly at full strength either- with PF John Collins, SG Jordan Clarkson sidelined, and team-leading scorer PF Lauri Markkanen (19.3 points per game) questionable – they’ve still got some players stepping up.

Even with a banged-up roster, Utah has shown they can rely on key players to keep things competitive. PG Collin Sexton, for example, scored 20 points in the Jazz’s 105-92 win over Orlando, while C Walker Kessler notched yet another double-double with 10 points and 17 rebounds in the same game.

But asking him to hit 23+ points tonight? That feels like a stretch. Even with more touches due to Utah’s injury woes, Sexton has only cleared that number once in his last five games. Plus, he’s averaging only 17.7 points on the season. Sure, he’ll take his shots, but breaking that 23-point threshold? I don’t see it happening.
