NBA betting markets have a plethora of prop betting markets for Game 2 between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics on Friday.
After losing the opening game, the Celtics are expected to fire back. However, the sportsbook is offering value odds for a Heat player to catch fire.
Feeling the Love
NBA lines have Love at 12½ for points, assists and rebounds, which is too good to pass up.
The experienced Heat player could have a big scoring game, not to mention his rebounding skills, so we’re confident he’ll go over the mark.
Love had eight points and six rebounds in the Game 1 win, so there’s no reason to believe he’ll regress from that performance.
We think he’ll have an even bigger impact on Friday, and we’re surprised by the sport betting line. We would have been happy to back Love at 15½, so getting three points to play with is ideal.
If the Celtics put up a lot of shots and miss, Love will be there to get the rebound and throw the ball down the court, which could lead to an assist. He didn’t have one in the opening game, so he should grab at least a couple.

Brogdon to Break Out
NBA odds have Malcolm Brogdon at 15½ points for Game 2, which is well worth including in your Heat versus Celtics props picks.
Brogdon comes off a 19-point performance, and with Jayson Tatum feeling the pinch of the playoffs, Brogdon could shine again.
He averaged 14.9 points per game during the regular season, which is right on the mark. However, he has scored over 15 points in two of his last three games, so we’re confident with this pick.
Coming off the bench hasn’t been an easy adjustment for Brogdon, but it’s all for the good of the team.
“It’s not easy. It really isn’t,’’ Brogdon said. “It wouldn’t be easy on any team: Starting your whole career and then coming off the bench, but my teammates have made it a great experience for me, and (so have) Joe (Mazzulla) and the coaching staff, so it’s something I really enjoy.
“And we’re winning. We’re winning at a high level. We’re doing it together. Guys really enjoy each other on and off the court. I can’t say that for all the teams I’ve been on, so this is special.”
Celtics Winning Margin
If the Celtics start well, live betting markets could see their spread move into double digits.
However, we expect them to win by single figures. There is good value in winning margin markets, and we’re backing the Celtics 7-9 points.
Online gambling odds have +600 odds for the Celtics to win by 7-9 points, and although it’s not an easy bet to cash, it’s worth the risk.
It could be a closely contested game for most of it, but the Celtics should have the class to pull away in the final quarter. Tatum and Jaylen Brown could get hot late and pull the Celtics away for a comfortable victory.
