Boston Seeking to Level Series at Home

Heat in Control

Now, with a 2-1 lead, the Heat are looking to ram home the advantage as significant underdogs with the sportsbook for Monday’s matchup in Boston.

Game Four is always pivotal, so the pressure is on in the race for the Eastern Conference title.

Let’s check the latest NBA lines, stats, injury reports, and NBA odds for Heat vs Celtics. We’ve plenty of NBA Championship odds for you to consider.

Heat to Stay Cooking

The Miami Heat showed why they are the top seed with a gutsy 109-103 road win on Saturday. It was a special performance from Bam Adebayo with 31 points.

They’re looking to continue the momentum on Monday, but NBA betting odds aren’t giving them much respect.

The Heat are +250 and +7, which is a surprising line. Many are expecting the Boston Celtics to bounce back from a poor loss, but the Heat won’t be contempt with heading home all tied up at 2-2.

Despite Jimmy Butler being in doubt with knee inflammation, Adebayo stepped up in Game 3and he could repeat that performance.

“He did his version of what Jimmy does: ‘Do what’s necessary for the game,'” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra told ESPN. “Tonight we needed the scoring and we needed that offensive punch early on.

“Then, when Jimmy was out in the second half, he just stabilized us. It got a little gnarly out there and when it did, we were able to get the ball to Bam and just get something coherent.”

We wouldn’t be ruling out the Heat from winning and bettors get value odds.

All or Nothing for Celtics

Losing consecutive home games would all but seal the Boston Celtics’ fate, so everything is on the line at TD Garden.

Jayson Tatum has often proven himself when the Celtics need him, but he was nowhere to be seen in Game 3. He finished with 10 points on 3-of-shooting, so they’re going to need more from their scoring superstar.

“Six turnovers, and no field goals in the second half – that is unacceptable,” Tatum said. “Honestly, I’ve got to play better. I feel like I left the guys hanging tonight. That’s on me.”

NBA odds have the Celtics at -300 to win outright, which is largely due to Butler’s injury and the expectation of the Celtics hitting back after a poor loss.

Losing consecutive home games isn’t what the Celtics are about, so much of the early money has come for the home side. However, just because they’re playing at home doesn’t mean it’s an automatic win.

They’ll need to find some heart and take care of business before looking ahead to their Miami road trip.

Heat vs Celtics Head-to-Head

After Game 3, the season series is tied at 3-3.

There hasn’t been much separating the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics all season and it’s showing during the playoffs.

Heat vs Celtics Betting Lines

Heat vs Celtics Prediction

There is solid betting online value with the Miami Heat and we’re prepared to back them on the road.

Getting +7 is a premium line regardless of whether Butler is playing and we think that line could firm close to game time.

The current total is 206½ and we think it will be a low-scoring contest. Defense should be at the forefront of the game, especially for Miami, which should dial down on defense and force Boston into taking bad shots.

Pick: Miami Heat +7
