Heat vs Celtics Game 7 Props/Live Betting Tips

Will the Unthinkable Happen?

NBA betting gave the Boston Celtics a chance of winning the Eastern Conference at 0-3, and they were right to do so.

They are now in the commanding position against the Miami Heat, and there are excellent betting opportunities at the sportsbook for Game 7 on Monday.

Tatum Leading Celtics to Promise Land

It’s no coincidence that the improved play of Jayson Tatum has been the catalyst for the Celtics’ success.

Despite going 1-14 from behind the 3-point line, Tatum has had scoring totals of 33, 21, and 31 points in his last three games.

He comes off a 31/12/5 game, which saw him cover the NBA lines total narrowly. We think he’ll have another big game in the tank, so over 47½ is worth including.

He could go for 40 points alone, as he wants to make a statement before potentially facing the Denver Nuggets for the NBA Championship.

Online gambling odds have taken money for the over, which has been bet into -125. Bettors are confident of a big Tatum showing.

That’s when I’m at my best, when I’m having fun,” Tatum said. “When you go out there and relax and kind of think about those days when you were at the Y.M.C.A. or whatever, the game opens up.”

It’s Smart Money

NBA odds have Marcus Smart at 23½ for points, assists, and rebounds, and the early money appears to be smart.

Smart usually plays his best games when there is something on the line, which was the case in Game 6 when scoring 21 points.

His totals have been 26 and 28 in his last two games, so that gives us enough confidence to bet on the Celtics guard.

After opening at -110, over has been bet into -120 with sport betting markets. That price could continue to fall for Smart, who is ready to ball out.

Butler Held in Check

Jimmy Butler may have hit the wall in his last two games, with scoring totals of 14 and 24 points.

It’s not enough of a scoring effort from their leader, and going 5-21 from the field in Game 6 will be tough to recover from.

We expect another tough game from Butler, who could find it hard on the road, especially after scoring 14 points in his most recent outing at TD Garden.

Live betting markets could drop his current total of 43½ for points, assists, and rebounds if he starts well in the first quarter, but we can’t see it happening.

I’m not gonna let anybody quit. I’m not gonna let our guys quit. I don’t give a damn what happens. We gonna go in there, and we gonna win,” Butler said.

We like the talk from the Heat’s most important player, but we think they have run out of ideas.
