The Thunder continue their winning run and we can’t see the Heat putting a stop to that. They are 24-3 at home, and after beating New Orleans 137-101, confidence is high with the Thunder, who are riding a six-game win streak. We thought NBA odds would be more in favor of the Thunder, who we rated as a -14.5 favorite against a Miami team coming off consecutive losses following the trading of Jimmy Butler. Miami is treading water and we don’t want to put our money on it.

• Leg 2: Under 219½ Points

Our NBA Wednesday picks have under 219½ points, mostly because the Heat don’t know what to do offensively. They come off a 103-85 loss to the Celtics, and before that performance, they lost 102-86 to the Nets. The Nets’ loss is a shocker, and without Butler on the floor, there is little offense coming from the visitors. The Thunder could put up a big total, but we see this game ending 118-96, which is more than enough leeway for the under to cash.

Gilgeous-Alexander should be a front-runner for MVP after posting 32.6 points per game, and we feel as though if he was playing for a higher-profile team, he would have already won the award.

The Canadian comes off a 31-point performance against the Pelicans, and the Heat defense isn’t good enough to keep him under wraps. He’s a natural scorer, and considering the other offensive weapons on the Thunder roster, averaging 32.6 is a credit to his ability.

He doesn’t need to put up an insane number of shots to achieve over 31.5 points, so he’s our top NBA player prop pick for the Heat vs Thunder.

• Leg 4: Thunder -8 Halftime Line

Our best NBA prop is the Thunder covering the -8 halftime line, as we think they hit the Heat early and never look back.
