The NBA In-Season Tournament has reached its climax, with the Indiana Pacers and Los Angeles Lakers scheduled to battle on Saturday night in Sin City. With top-tier talent on the court, we have a lot of prop betting value to choose from at the sportsbook. Let’s jump into the two best options for cashing tickets on Saturday night.
Haliburton Worth Bet Online as Indy’s Top Facilitator
The Lakers and Pacers are similar in that one player dominates their offensive stat sheet, and for Indiana, that player is PG Tyrese Haliburton.
Tyrese Haliburton showcased immense leadership during his exceptional 27 PTS, 15 AST, and 0 TO performance in the Semifinals!

While Haliburton is the team’s highest scorer with 26.9 points per game, his real skill lies in his passing abilities. Haliburton leads the team and the entire NBA with 12.1 dimes per game. I won’t say he’s the best passer in the league, but his average stats suggest he’s at least in the conversation.
I’m not recommending an c on Haliburton because he’s leading the NBA in assists, at least not solely for that reason. Much of my interest in this wager concerns the Lakers’ defense and how poorly they match up in some areas against Indiana.
First, the Lakers are a bottom-third team regarding the number of assists they allow per game to opponents (26.5). But the real reason Haliburton will feast on the Lakers’ defense is the mismatch in transition.
The Pacers score the second-most points in transition, while the Lakers allow the 25th most fastbreak points in the NBA. Points on the fastbreak are dependent on two things: speed and smart passes.
If the Pacers can get going in transition, Haliburton will be the key, and we will reap the rewards of his hard work in getting teammates involved.
Best NBA Bet: Tyrese Haliburton Over 12.5 Assists (+102)
How Will This Affect LeBron’s Legacy?
I know this is just a tournament to drum up excitement for the NBA while the NFL season is still going, but trust me when I say that LeBron James is treating this like a chance for himself to get another “title” under his belt.
While real NBA fans know that this in-season tournament is barely important, I’m expecting James to play like it’s Game 7 of the NBA Finals. Because of that, I expect James to go off on the Pacers and eclipse his scoring prop easily.
After the pain he inflicted on the New Orleans Pelicans in the NBA In-Section Tournament Semifinals, I have little doubt that James is highly motivated. In case you missed it, James dropped 30 points on the Pelicans with five rebounds and eight assists. While that may sound like an average game for James, the kicker is he played 23 minutes.
With a full 40 minutes available to score 30 again, James has a great shot at cashing some NBA betting tickets for us on Saturday night. With back-to-back 30+ point games in the tournament, my confidence is high for this one.
Best NBA Bet: LeBron James Over 29.5 Points (-114)
