Kings Our NBA Betting Pick Today Over Warriors

In the inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament, one of the top groups has been the West: Group C, with three teams seemingly still in the running for the knockout rounds. On the final day of group games, the Golden State Warriors will face the Sacramento Kings, a growing rivalry that makes this an exciting online betting matchup.

Both teams’ last game was played in the In-Season Tournament. The Warriors needed a close 118-112 win over the San Antonio Spurs to keep their hopes alive. The Kings remained undefeated in tournament play with a big win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, 124-111.

Golden State Trying to Break Out of Slump

This has been a very interesting and disheartening stretch for the Warriors, with only three wins in the last 11 games. Part of that could be Stephen Curry missing three games with an injury or Draymond Green being suspended for five. But while that did affect our NBA basketball picks, they did not miss every game over the last 11.

There have been more significant issues for the Warriors during this time; like Curry scoring at least 32 points in all three of the team’s wins. Curry also had other 30-point games during this stretch that didn’t result in a win, but the Warriors need a big game from him to at least keep things close.

A big part of the problem is that Curry hasn’t had much of a supporting cast. No player has averaged more than 15 points a game over the last 11, with Klay Thompson at 14.2 being the closest. That lack of offensive support has hurt the Warriors’ NBA odds for the future without a real plan to fix the offense.

However, there were some positives in the last three games, with the Warriors going 2-1. Thompson scored 20 points in a win over the Houston Rockets, followed by Dario Šarić having 20 off the bench against the Spurs. That could be a trend in the right direction for the Warriors, who will be reinstating Green against the Kings.

Sacramento Winning at Home

The Kings’ success from last season has not slowed down. This season, the Kings have gone on a six-game win streak, winning four straight at home, and going undefeated in the In-Season Tournament. NBA lines favor them to finish on top of West: Group C.

Returning home will be great for Sacramento, who just finished a six-game road trip. The Kings won the first three games before losing two straight to the New Orleans Pelicans. However, they finished with a big win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, putting them in the driving seat of their group.

De’Aaron Fox has been excellent and crucial to the Kings’ success. In the win over the Timberwolves, he had a massive game, scoring 36 points and adding 12 assists for a complete game.

Fox is a cog in an offensive machine still figuring itself out, but the team can still have big nights. In the win over the Timberwolves, Malik Monk scored 17 points off the bench, while Harrison Barnes had 18. All this success on the road will undoubtedly carry over to when the Kings play at home, and NBA betting has to consider the team’s home-court advantage.

NBA spreads have the Kings as slight favorites. Both teams match well and have built up a rivalry by being located in Northern California, matching up in a seven-game series in the playoffs last season.

However, it is hard to have much faith in the Warriors right now. Green is just returning to the team, and Curry has to carry the offense every night. The Kings are much more well-rounded and play better basketball.

Questions Of The Day

Which team has the better overall record this season: the Warriors or the Kings?

The Kings have had the better overall record this season, but each team has already had some highs and lows.

Should I consider placing a parlay bet on the Warriors and Kings game?

This game is essentially a toss-up, making it hard to be considered in parlays with other games. But whichever team wins will get a big night from their star guard, Fox or Curry, so that could be a helpful NBA player prop in parlays.
