The takeaway? The Knicks are dominating against non-playoff teams. But that is a confidence-booster at least and New York may finally be respectable enough for online sports betting.
Mavericks’ Defense Elite
Dallas will take New York’s home resurgence and raise it with a six-game winning streak. Better yet, the Mavericks beat the likes of Golden State, Chicago and Denver, holding each team under 100 points. Heck, Dallas held Golden State and Steph Curry to a season-low 82 points.
The Mavericks posted a 96.7 defensive rating in this stretch and have improved to the sixth-best in the NBA overall at 107.1. Despite Luka Doncic going in and out of the lineup and the offense only ranking 24th in points, Dallas is getting it done with defense.

This approach harkens back to the days when the Mavericks won the NBA title with some guy called “Dirk.” The 107.1 rating is Dallas’s best in the Doncic era and the best since the 2015-16 season.
