Philadelphia Looking to Rough Up New York Again
Knicks Skid into Philadelphia
Not again! The New York Knicks must not be looking forward to having to deal with Joel Embiid, James Harden and the Philadelphia 76ers again. Less than 72 hours after they got thoroughly outplayed, the Knicks are due for a beatdown in Philadelphia, per the NBA odds.

Woeful Knicks Can’t Stop Slide
The New York Knicks’ 16-point loss to the 76ers on Sunday may as well be the nail in their season’s coffin. Now at 11 games under .500, the Knicks have lost five straight and 15 of their last 18 games. They have not won consecutive games since Jan. 15.
Their defense remains pedestrian and their offense is either subpar or embarrassing. In their last 15 games, the Knicks are 27th in true shooting percentage and 28th in assist-to-turnover ratio. Star big man Julius Randle seems to be getting worse, if that’s even possible.
The Knicks were one of the best teams to bet online last season. But fading them this year has proved to be a more profitable hobby as New York is just 7-22 as an underdog (5-15 against the conference). Knicks fans could start wearing paper bags on their heads.
Philadelphia Poses Problem
Excuse us. Embiid and Harden are the problem. What happens when you put together two of the most dominant one-on-one players? A lot of points and a lot of free throws. The 76ers handled the Knicks thanks to a combined 66 points from Embiid and Harden.
.@KendrickPerkins thinks the combo of Harden & Embiid has a legendary ceiling 🏆

While it’s not as glamorous as the Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul Jabbar comparison that the media is making, points are points. Embiid hit just seven field goals and shot 38.9 percent from the field and still scored 37 points on Sunday. Heck, the Sixers as a team hit more free throws (39) than field goals (38).
Harden also finished with a triple-double and is averaging 14 assists with just 2.5 turnovers since joining the Sixers. Tyrese Maxey also scored 21 points and between the three of them, Philly may start being a more dependable team on the sportsbook. With an 11-18 ATS record at home, they can only go up.
Knicks at 76ers Head-to-Head
In this fourth and final meeting between the New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers, the latter gets a chance to even the season series. The Knicks are 2-1 against Philly on both the moneyline and spread.
Knicks at 76ers Prediction
This will be another butt-kicking courtesy of the Philadelphia 76ers. Granted, their record at home stinks when we consider the betting lines and the lofty spread. Philadelphia is just 2-6 ATS when favored by 10 or more points. But the New York Knicks can’t be trusted right now with how bad they are playing.
The Knicks are also just 7-11 ATS when playing as an underdog on the road. This team has a hard time scoring points and it proved on Sunday that it had no answers to the Embiid-Harden combo. This game is going to be another rout and it is highly possible that the Knicks don’t even hit 100 points.
