The 76ers beat the Hornets because the role players had big games. Two players off the bench, Jared McCain and Guerschon Yabusele, scored career highs. McCain, a rookie, had 27 points, 23 of which came in the second half and overtime. Yabusele added 20 points and eight rebounds.
However, with Embiid on the court, that might seem like an upgrade, but it might take some time for him to be fully back in a rhythm.
