Monday’s Best NBA Player Props: Count on Siakam, Beal to Deliver

A new week is here, and the end of the NBA regular season is just two weeks away. The playoff races in each conference are red-hot, and so are our NBA predictions. We’re coming off of another profitable week, so let’s stay hot with our best NBA bets today.

We had another wild weekend. LeBron James refuses to show his age after he tied his career-high with nine 3-pointers in a 40-point performance in the Lakers’ win over the Nets. The Lakers are getting hot at the right time, winning six of their last seven.

The Knicks and Thunder played back-and-forth in a duel at Madison Square Garden. Oklahoma City ended up getting the final word, with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander making his return after missing two games.

The NBA playoff races are scorching hot. With two weeks left until the end of the regular season, here’s how things stand.

Monday night’s schedule features a modest six matchups and teams have plenty of motivation, whether for the playoffs or tanking purposes. The injury reports constantly move our NBA betting lines, but I’ve identified a few spots to take advantage of.

Here are the best NBA player prop bets for Monday.

Best NBA Player Props Today

1. NBA Prop Pick: Hawks PG Dejounte Murray Over 10 Assists (+108)

We’re heading to the streets of Chicago with our first NBA bet tonight. The Hawks are on the road after a five-game homestand and will take on the Bulls, who are coming off a massive win over the Timberwolves on the road on Sunday. These teams are ninth and 10th in the standings, and the Bulls have won the first two matchups. I expect the Hawks to keep this one close, and the line suggests they do so as 2½-point underdogs.

Dejounte Murray has been nothing short of spectacular since Trae Young’s injury in February. Murray is proving he can be the face of the franchise in Atlanta if the Hawks brass chooses to move Young in the offseason and build around Murray. In 23 games without Young this season, Murray has averaged nine assists, going over this line in 12 of those 23 games. Chicago allows the seventh-most in assists per game, and Murray is averaging 15.2 potential assists since Trae Young went down, the second-most in the NBA behind Luka Doncic. He has finished with double-digit assists in six of his last eight games. The plus money here intrigues me.

2. NBA Prop Pick: Pacers PF Pascal Siakam Over 8½ Rebounds (-186)

The Brooklyn Nets are another team playing on the second night of a back-to-back on Monday. The Indiana Pacers are a brutal matchup for teams on a back-to-back because they push the ball down the floor on every possession. The Pacers play at the fastest pace in the NBA alongside the Washington Wizards. The Nets starters all played significant minutes against the Lakers on Sunday, which will lead to some tired legs and more rebounding chances for Siakam.

The Nets allow the eighth-most rebounds per game overall and power forwards. Since joining the Pacers, Siakam grabbed 11 rebounds in the previous matchup against the Nets and 10 in the previous matchup this season as a member of the Raptors. Siakam is over this line in seven of his last 10 games. Trust the Pacers to put the pressure on the Nets and dominate the glass.

3. NBA Prop Pick: Suns SG Bradley Beal Over 5½ Assists (-141)

This is a solid buy-low spot on Bradley Beal. The Phoenix Suns road trip continues in New Orleans on Monday when they battle a tough Pelicans team. Phoenix is fighting to get out of the Play-In and they will come to play after getting embarrassed by the Thunder. It appears Bradley Beal is starting to find his niche with his new team, and he’s taking a back seat as a scorer. However, he is continuing to excel as a distributor.

Beal has at least six assists in eight of his last nine games. In March, where he played at least 28 minutes, Beal exceeded this line in 11 of 14 games. Beal is over this line in 22 of 37 healthy games with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, including 15 of his last 18. The Pelicans’ defense is strong with the fourth-best rating in the NBA, but are allowing the 10th-most assists per game to opposing shooting guards. Beal averaged 10.3 potential assists per game in March. In the meeting with the Pelicans earlier this season, the Suns had 32 assists led by Jusuf Nurkic with nine. Beal finished that game with five assists on 12 potentials! Without Brandon Ingram, we’ve recently seen Jaylen Brown, Jrue Holiday, Khris Middleton, Damian Lillard, and Shai-Gilgeous Alexander all exceed five assists. Bank on Beal!
