NBA Expert Picks: Lakers, Blazers Top Parlay Bet for March 18

Our NBA predictions were on point last week, and I’m looking to kick off the new week with a bang. With just one month left to go, it’s becoming much easier to distinguish the contenders from the pretenders. We’ve cashed in nearly half of our longshot parlays this month, which has already guaranteed us plenty of profit in March.

The playoff races are heating up, and the NBA standings are constantly shifting.

NBA Expert Picks: Lakers, Blazers Top Parlay Bet for March 18

We have eight games scheduled to kick off our week on Monday night, and I’m going to build our parlay bet using a combination of NBA ATS picks and NBA player props.

With so many games to break down and select our picks from, I’m loading up a four-leg parlay. You can always do a ton of your research, but the trick is I’ve already done that work for you. Let’s get into the best NBA picks for Monday.

Monday NBA Parlay Picks

1. NBA Parlay Pick: Heat C Bam Adebayo to Record a Double-Double (-193)

I’ve gone with this player prop bet multiple times this season, and Bam Adebayo is finally coming through for us. Bam is coming off a massive performance and a buzzer-beater. When the Miami Heat takes on the Philadelphia 76ers tonight, I expect him to have another big night. Bam Adebayo is averaging 19.9 points and 10.5 rebounds this season, finishing with a double-double in 34 of 57 starts (59.6%) and 19 of 30 road games (63.3%). He is averaging 17.1 rebound chances per game.

Without Joel Embiid, the 76ers lack the size on the interior to defend Bam. In the previous two meetings this season, the Heat faced Philadelphia without the reigning MVP, and Adebayo finished with two double-doubles. The Sixers have recently allowed double-doubles to Zion Williamson, Josh Hart, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Nick Richards—Bank on Bam.

2. NBA Parlay Pick: Pistons C Jalen Duren to Record a Double-Double (-126)

Just when I thought the oddsmakers were beginning to respect Jalen Duren, they dropped this beauty right in our laps! If you’ve been riding with me this season, you’ll know there’s no reason to stop counting on Jalen Duren. This has undoubtedly been one of my top NBA player prop bets this season. Jalen Duren has been a beast! The second-year center for the Pistons is quietly enjoying a breakout season. He has a double-double in 38 of 51 starts — a 74.5% hit rate. Duren and the Pistons travel to take on the Boston Celtics in a brutal matchup, but this price is too reasonable to ignore.

Duren finished with 15 points and 14 rebounds in his lone matchup with the Celtics earlier this season. The matchup isn’t appealing, but Duren has been a double-double machine. He is recording double-doubles at the fifth-highest rate in the NBA, and this is an excellent leg to add tonight to build our NBA parlay odds.

3. NBA Parlay Pick: Los Angeles Lakers -9 vs Atlanta Hawks

The Lakers have stung me all season long when I’ve turned to them, but I will trust them one last time against the worst ATS team this season. The Hawks have gone an NBA-worst 23-44 ATS this season and 4-7 ATS on a back-to-back. The Lakers are not the same team we watched reach the Western Conference Finals a season ago, but they should come out tonight with a purpose.

Atlanta allows the highest eFG% in the NBA (57%), and the Lakers have the sixth-best eFG% in the NBA (56%). The Hawks defeated the Lakers on January 30 in Atlanta, but LA was without Anthony Davis. The Lakers are on the brink of becoming a team to bet on to miss the playoffs when looking at possible NBA futures bets right now so I expect AD to be on the floor tonight. This is a revenge game for the Lakers, who have been a completely different squad at home this season.

4. NBA Parlay Pick: Portland Trail Blazers +8 vs Chicago Bulls

We’re doing it! We’re on the Portland Trail Blazers tonight, and there’s nothing you can say to convince me otherwise. The Blazers are in Chicago tonight to battle the Bulls, who are in the final game of a three-game homestand. Chicago defeated Portland on January 28, 104-96, when they were 5½ point favorites. The Bulls have listed Coby White as doubtful. They are coming off a beatdown of the Wizards, but they are just 16-18 ATS at home. Meanwhile, the Blazers are 17-15 ATS on the road.

Deandre Ayton suddenly appears to be revitalized, and Anfernee Simons has the ability to go off tonight against a bad Bulls three-point defense. This could be a sweat, and we’ll likely root for a backdoor cover from Portland, but they should keep this game close enough to cover this spread. This is the Bulls’ fourth game in six nights, so they could have some tired legs in the fourth quarter trying to keep up with this young Blazers unit.
