NBA Parlay Features Polished Nugget

The NBA playoffs odds are in full swing, and we feature all three playoff games on Monday in our parlay.

The highlight is Game 2 of the Los Angeles Lakers-Denver Nuggets series. Denver is favored in spread markets at -7½.

We’re hoping the Nuggets can cash and bring home the hard court returns. We also like the Cavaliers to go up 2-0 on the Magic and the Knicks likewise on the 76ers.

Stay ahead in the game with unbeatable NBA odds.

1. A Cavalier Approach When it Comes to Covering the Spread

The best thing about the Cavaliers is that they know how to cover spreads, which was the case in Game 1 when beating the Orlando Magic 97-83.

It’s not surprising to see NBA spreads favor them at -5½ in Game 2, and we predict a similar scoreline at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

Donovan Mitchell had 30 points on 11-of-21 shooting, and the Cavaliers best scorer should be back at it again. He is the best player on the court, which is why the Cavaliers are favored to not only win Game 2, but the series.

He’s ready for the moment and it’s the Game 1s,” Cavaliers coach J.B. Bickestaff said. “It’s the bigger games during the regular season. He has the ability and the understanding of how important the start is, whatever that may be.

We’re not discrediting the Magic, who had a fine regular season at 47-35. However, it has been a rebuilding year for the Magic, and they have already exceeded expectations making the playoffs.

We expect the Cavaliers to take a commanding 2-0 lead, so lock in the current -5½ line. Most of the money should come for the Cavaliers, who play their best basketball at home.

Pick: Cleveland Cavaliers -5½

2. Big Tick for Knicks to Deep 6 Sixers

As much as we love betting the Cavaliers, we love betting the Knicks at home more.

They couldn’t have been tougher when beating the Philadelphia 76ers 111-104 in Game 1, and we expect more of the same on Monday.

It continued the six-game win streak for the men from New York, who ended the 76ers eight-game win streak.

NBA odds have the Knicks at -5, so there is plenty of respect being given to them, and rightfully so. Jalen Brunson wasn’t anywhere near his best and they still covered the spread in Game 1, so imagine if he plays well.

Brunson had 22 points on a dismal 8-for-26 shooting. He’s rarely that bad, but being able to cover the spread and have your best player shoot poorly is credit to the depth of the Knicks.

It’s clear Joel Embiid isn’t at full health. Credit the MVP for scoring 29 points despite laboring for most of the game. However, that will catch up to him as the series continues.

We’re backing another favorite to cover the spread in our NBA parlay. It could be a day for the home favorites to show out and take 2-0 leads in their respective series.

Confidence levels are high with the Knicks, who have prepared for this situation for many years.

3. Nuggets Not Seeing Stars in Lakers

There is a stark contrast in the ability of the current Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets teams.

After winning the opening game 114-103, the Nuggets don’t look like they are slowing down in their march for consecutive NBA titles.

We don’t have much faith in the Lakers, and despite having LeBron James and Anthony Davis, bettors find it hard to trust a team that is 19-22 on the road.

Backing the Lakers to cover spreads on the road is a recipe for disaster, so we’re including the Nuggets -7½ in our parlay as the third and final leg.

Being 34-8 at home is an excellent record, and betting online on the Nuggets has been a great bet over the last two years.

We don’t see where the offense comes for the Lakers, who could struggle to reach 100 points. They scored 103 in Game 1, and despite Davis providing 32 points and James 27, they were a combined -21 when they were on the floor.

Therefore, there is only one team entering our parlay picks, and it’s the Nuggets.
