NBA Parlay Picks: Lock in Lakers, SGA, and More 03/22/2024

It’s been another profitable week of NBA predictions, and I’m back looking to close it out with a bang. With one month left to go, it’s becoming much easier to distinguish between the contenders and pretenders. We’ve cashed in nearly half of our parlays in March, and I’m eager to win big again with these NBA bets.

One of the best ways to spice things up when wagering on basketball is with an NBA parlay bet for all of the action. Eight games are scheduled to tip off Friday night, and I’m going to build our parlay bet using a combination of NBA ATS picks and NBA player props.

With so many games to break down and select our picks from, I’m loading up a four-leg parlay. You can always do a ton of your research, but the trick is I’ve already done that work for you. Let’s get into our best NBA predictions on Friday.

Friday NBA Parlay Picks

1. Thunder PG Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 31+ Points (-104)

I really wanted to get this number at 30, but if there were a guy to trust right now, it would be SGA! The Oklahoma City Thunder kick off a three-game road trip tonight when they take on the Toronto Raptors. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is second in NBA MVP odds behind Nikola Jokic, and many believe the award is SGA’s to lose. He can boost his MVP chances again with a massive game in this soft matchup.

Gilgeous-Alexander averages 30.9 points, the second-highest in the league behind Luka Doncic (34.1 ppg). He has scored at least 30 points in 50 of 67 games this season, including 11 of 14 since the All-Star break.

SGA has a chance to put up massive numbers in this matchup against a beaten and battered Raptors team. There is the threat of a blowout as OKC are 15-point favorites. SGA has been a reason behind the Thunder’s blowout wins this season, scoring at least 30 points in 13 of 18 wins they have had by 15 or more points. The Raptors don’t have the bodies to slow down SGA, who should be able to get whatever he wants tonight. Roll with SGA to make an MVP statement with our first leg.

2. Los Angeles Lakers -7 vs. Philadelphia 76ers

It’s often tough to stomach taking the Lakers in these late-night TV games, but this matchup is great for them. The Lakers have been sitting comfortably at home for nearly a week and are well-rested, having not played since Monday. Meanwhile, the 76ers are on their second stop for their current four-game West Coast road trip. The Sixers are 6-9 ATS with the rest disadvantage and 14-16 ATS after a loss.

Anthony Davis and the Lakers can get whatever they want near the rim without the reigning MVP, Joel Embiid, on the floor. Philly demolished the Lakers back in November 138-94, so I expect the Lakers to give Philly a taste of their own medicine tonight and cover this number.

3. Minnesota Timberwolves Moneyline (-290) vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

The Timberwolves host the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight, and both teams are coming off losses. I’m opting for the moneyline over the points here because Cleveland has also been strong after a loss. Minnesota owns the fourth-best record in the NBA and is 17-3 with a rest advantage this season. They have had one extra day of rest, and Cleveland is playing their sixth straight game in a different city.

Cleveland defeated Minnesota in overtime on March 8, but the Wolves were on the second night of a back-to-back. I’m expecting Minnesota to bounce back after a tough loss against the Nuggets and get revenge here tonight. Cleveland is still without Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley, and I expect the Wolves to be near full strength outside of Karl-Anthony Towns. Howl with the Wolves tonight!

4. Pistons C Jalen Duren to Record a Double-Double (-130)

Another day, another Jalen Duren double-double! This has undoubtedly been one of my top NBA player prop bets this season. Jalen Duren has been a beast, averaging 13.8 points and 11.9 rebounds in his second NBA season. He has a double-double in 39 of 53 starts — a 73.5% hit rate. The Pistons host the Celtics tonight, and Duren recently finished with 8 points and 9 rebounds in just 22 minutes of action against them earlier this week.

In the first matchup this season he had 15 points and 14 rebounds against Boston. With Cade Cunningham back in the lineup, the Pistons duo should keep this game more competitive than the last meeting. Detroit is down Isaiah Stewart and Simone Fontecchio, which opens the door wider for Duren. This bet has been an excellent addition to our parlays all season, and we should expect him to record another double-double.
