Several teams are bunched up in the middle of the Eastern Conference. All we know is the Boston Celtics locked up the No. 1 seed, and are one of the title favorites in the Las Vegas odds. More on that in a bit as we’ll look at the NBA futures market.

The Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks, and Cleveland Cavaliers are all fighting for seeds No. 2 through No. 4. A Bucks victory over the Orlando Magic in the season finale would give Milwaukee the No. 2 seed. An Orlando win would open the door for the Knicks or Cavs to jump up in the NBA playoff picture.

The Magic have struggled down the stretch and are in danger of dropping to the Play-In Tournament. Orlando currently has the No. 5 seed but faces a Bucks team tha came away with a blowout win versus the Magic earlier this week.

The Magic, Indiana Pacers, and Philadelphia 76ers all have identical records at No. 5 through No. 7. The Miami Heat are also one game back heading into the final day of the regular season.

At the bottom of the playoff table, the Chicago Bulls and Atlanta Hawks have clinched spots in the Play-In Tournament.

Let’s take a look at the Western Conference.

Thunder, Timberwolves, and Nuggets Fighting for No. 1 Seed

Things look different in the Western Conference, where the main battle is happening at the top of the standings. The Oklahoma City Thunder, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Denver Nuggets are tied for the No. 1 seed.

Oklahoma City currently holds the tiebreaker if the teams all finish with identical records. We know that the Los Angeles Clippers will square off against the Dallas Mavericks in the No. 4 and No. 5 seed matchup. You can at least prepare for this NBA betting line.

Elsewhere, the New Orleans Pelicans currently sit as the No. 6 seed, while the Phoenix Suns are in the No. 7 spot. Unless the Suns can make a jump, they will be joined by an intriguing group of teams in the Play-In Tournament.

LeBron James and Steph Curry Headed for the Play-In Tournament

We will get both James and Curry in the Play-In Tournament. It remains to be seen whether the superstars will have to square off.

Heading into the season finale, the Suns would face the No. 8 Los Angeles Lakers. The No. 9 Sacramento Kings would play host to the No. 10 Golden State Warriors.

Celtics and Nuggets Are Heavy NBA Championship Favorites

The Celtics and Nuggets are sizable favorites versus the field in the NBA Finals odds to win the title. Boston is the favorite in our odds at +165 followed by Denver at +300.

Looking for a sleeper to win the NBA title? Both the Timberwolves and Thunder could be as high as the top seed but are well down the basketball odds.

Despite Anthony Edwards putting the NBA on notice, the T-Wolves have +2000 odds to win the championship. The Thunder are at +1600 title odds.

If you are looking for value in the NBA futures market, teams who could make a run to win the Eastern Conference are the Bucks and 76ers. Both are dealing with significant injuries making them hard to predict heading into the postseason. Milwaukee has +600 odds to win the Eastern Conference, while Philadelphia sits at +750.
