Nuggets vs Heat Prop Bets & Live Betting Tips

Miami Needs Big Game to Tie Series

The Denver Nuggets have a 2-1 lead over the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals, heading into Game 4. The Nuggets won Game 3 behind Nikola Jokić and Jamal Murray filling the stat sheet, each with 30+ point triple-doubles. Their success should lead to some solid NBA lines for prop betting on Friday.

Butler Set for Big Home Game

If we have learned anything about Jimmy Butler through this incredible playoff run is that when the lights are the brightest, he tends to shine. In Game 1, Butler struggled offensively but started to come alive in Game 2, becoming a playmaker with nine assists. He stayed aggressive in Game 3, taking a series high 24 shots but only scoring 28 points.

Butler having a big game at home seems like a good choice for NBA betting. Despite multiple ankle injuries that have slowed him down through the playoffs, Butler can still score and create for others. Plus, he needs to have a top-tier game if the Heat want to avoid falling 3-1 in the series.

Jokić Will Not Have Bad Game

The way that Nikola Jokić is playing right now, it’s hard to imagine him having a bad game. He has been dominant in these playoffs, doing everything, which makes him perfect for prop NBA picks.

In Game 1, Jokić dominated with 27 points, 10 rebounds, and 14 assists. He would enforce his will offensively by being a playmaker, only taking 12 shots. That would shift in Game 2, scoring 41 points on 28 shots, adding 11 rebounds, but only picking up four assists. Game 3 might be the best, scoring 32 points with 21 rebounds and 10 assists. Jokić is too good of a player not to put up impressive lines consistently.

Pick: Nikola Jokić Over 53½ Pts+Rebs+Assists (-120)

Will Nuggets Bench Player Take Over Again

The supporting cast for the Nuggets has not played well in this series, with Michael Porter Jr. and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope shooting 5-of-28 from three. Their struggles have headlined NBA news, leading to the increased minutes for Bruce Brown and rookie Christian Braun. Porter played 43 minutes in Game 1 but has since dropped to 26 and 21 in Games 2 and 3.

Brown or Braun could be sneaky smart bets for prop betting, getting more minutes and having played well. Brown seems the likely option, which could have a much more significant impact on the game.

Pick: Bruce Brown Over 15½ Pts+Rebs+Assists (-115)

Miami’s Fourth Quarter

The Heat have dominated this series in the fourth quarter. That makes it a good option for NBA live betting, with the Heat instilling adjustments late in the game. Despite being evenly matched in Game 3, with the Nuggets winning 27-26 in the last 12 minutes, there is still something about the final quarter that makes the Heat play better.

At the moment, it is hard to tell what NBA odds will be available for the fourth quarter, but with how the Heat have played in the closing 12 minutes, it is something to track. In Game 2, the Heat had a dominant last quarter which helped them complete their comeback.

Pick: Highest Scoring Quarter, 4th Quarter (+280)
