Let’s check the latest NBA odds, stats, injury reports, and NBA lines for Nuggets vs Warriors. We’ve plenty of NBA betting odds for you to consider.
Nuggets Hoping Injuries Don’t Continue
The Denver Nuggets have been hampered by injuries for the last couple of seasons, with guard Jamal Murray returning from a knee injury suffered in 2020-21 and forward Michael Porter Jr. hopefully back and healthy after missing most of last season. Even two-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic has been dealing with an elbow issue in the preseason, though he was back for the team’s win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday.
Jokic had just two points in that win but dished out seven assists in 16 minutes of play. Jokic averaged 27.1 points, 13.8 rebounds and 7.9 assists a season ago, winning the MVP award for the second straight season.
Murray played in the first couple of preseason games for Denver but left against the Chicago Bulls on Oct. 7 with what was termed a hamstring injury. He hasn’t played in the last two preseason games and he likely won’t see action in this one as the Nuggets want to be extra careful with his health going into the season.
Porter had 12 points in Wednesday’s win over Los Angeles. He played in just nine games in 2021-22 due to lingering back issues. The 24-year-old averaged 19.0 points and 7.3 rebounds in 2020-21.
Green Back With Warriors
Much of the talk of the preseason for the Golden State Warriors has revolved around a practice incident in which forward Draymond Green punched teammate Jordan Poole. Green took time away from the team but was not suspended. He’s back and expected to play again on Friday night.
“We had the conversations about what we need to do moving forward, and we’re going to do that,” Green said about his return to the team. “We are not going to continue to hold on to the past.”
Green has been a vital part of the team’s championship runs over the past few years, while Poole emerged as an important cog as a scorer last season. Both are going to be important to the Warriors if they hope to compete for a repeat title.
Guard Stephen Curry will be the biggest factor in whether the Warriors can compete for a title again. He averaged 25.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 6.3 assists in the regular season in 2021-22, then turned it on in the postseason, earning NBA Finals MVP.
Nuggets vs Warriors Head-To-Head
The Denver Nuggets took three of the four regular-season meetings they had with the GWarriors in 2021-22, though Golden State won the final matchup. Denver won both of the games played in California last season.
Golden State had taken the season series in 2020-21, winning two of three matchups. The NBA lines for Friday’s are favoring the Warriors to come out on top at home.

Nuggets vs Warriors Prediction
The Denver Nuggets are still trying to work their key pieces back into their lineup, so they’re not going to go all out to win this contest. The Golden State Warriors want to bury the questions that Green and Poole won’t be able to coexist on the same team, so they’ll try to show they’re still the team to beat with a convincing win over the Nuggets.
When making your NBA picks, take Golden State to win easily at home.
