Our parlay includes three of the best team total picks, and there is excellent value available at the BetUS sportsbook.

Kicking things off is the Heat at Celtics, where the Celtics could be in for a big scoring night at TD Garden.

Celtics’ Offense to Heat Up at Home

We think NBA betting odds are being generous by offering the Celtics team total at 109 points.

Considering they scored 114 in the opening game of the Eastern Conference first-round series against the Heat, we can’t see the offense slowing down at home.

They are one of the hottest offenses in the NBA, and we thought their team total would be around 113, so bettors should entertain the over.

We believe it’s because the team total for the Heat is so low. The Heat’s team total is an incredibly low 94½ points, which is about as low as you’ll see, especially for a playoff game.

Miami scored 94 in Game 1, hence its line, but that’s not a reason for the Celtics to suddenly engage in a defensive battle and be forced down to Miami’s level.

Jayson Tatum scored only 23 points as part of a triple-double in Game 1, so he has much more in the tank.

It’s supposed to be tough. In the playoffs no game is easy,” Tatum said. “There’s no guaranteed wins regardless of time and score, how much time is left. … We just had to respond and we did that.”

The Heat are still without Jimmy Butler, so their defense is weakened. That should allow the home side to score a big total, and we’re locking in over 109 with supreme confidence.

We are predicting the Celtics to score around 118, and Miami about 100. Therefore, we’re also including the Heat over 94½ in our NBA Wednesday parlay.

We think it’s a safer bet than taking the Celtics -14½, which we’re backing, but including team totals in your parlay is a safer way to maximize profits for the Heat-Celtics Game 2.

Thunder’s High-Powered Offense to Return

It’s an over kind of day on Wednesday, and we’re locking in Thunder over 109 as the third leg of our NBA parlay.

We’re not sure what happened in Game 1 against the Pelicans, but it’s rare to see a 94-92 scoreline in any Western Conference game, let alone one involving the Thunder.

The shots weren’t going down, but we expect that to change at Paycom Center. The Thunder had been scoring at will prior, after notching totals of 135 against the Mavericks, 125 against the Bucks, and 127 against the Spurs.

That’s more of what we expected to see in Game 1, but we’re putting it down to nerves. It was a tense and tight battle with the Pelicans, but we expect the Pels to play at a notch below what we saw in the opening game.

Shai Gilegeous-Alexander was held in check for much of the game. He got hot late to score 28 points, but he doesn’t go 11 for 24 from the field often.

Bettors should expect more points from the Thunder’s leading scorer, who averaged 30.1 points per game in the regular season. We also expect more from Australia’s Josh Giddey, who scored two points in only 20 minutes.

Giddey should be used more frequently in Game 2, and his offense and his assists should help the Thunder pile on the points.

Over 109 is the only play we want for the Thunder, who have been well-backed to cover the -7½ spread, and we’re comfortable behind them to exceed their team total.

Questions of the Day

Is the Celtics offense being underrated in Game 2?

The Celtics team total of 109 is much lower than expected, especially for a team that lives behind the 3-point line.

Should we expect more offense with Pelicans-Thunder Game 2?

Bettors shouldn’t expect another low scoring game, which was an anomaly. The Thunder could pile on the points at home.
