The Indiana Pacers are set to finish off the Cleveland Cavaliers. We don’t know how anyone can still back Cleveland after that demoralizing blowout loss in Game 4. Even if Game 5 is back in Cleveland, this is the scene where Indiana went up 2-0 after outplaying the home team in the second half. The NBA odds for tonight may support the home team comfortably, but we won’t.

Even after putting up a stinker in Game 3, we stood by Indiana and profited from it. Indiana is deeper and more efficient than Cleveland. More notably, the Pacers have that “swag” where they seem unfazed by big moments. In what should be a hard-fought elimination NBA game, our money is once again on the underdogs.

We’re siding with Indiana, but not Pascal Siakam’s NBA player prop picks today. The All-Star got the monkey off his back in Game 4. But we don’t see him shooting 90% again, especially when he’s averaging just 15 points per game in his last six. Adding 5.2 boards and 3.2 assists, he’s still unlikely to go over his combo prop.

Cavaliers G Donovan Mitchell 31+ Points (+119)
Donovan Mitchell may be facing another second-round exit. But he won’t go out quietly. Mitchell will do everything he can to keep Cleveland in it, and he’ll do it by filling up the basket. The six-time All-Star scored 33+ in three of the four games in this series. Bet him to score at least 31.

We’re not ones to keep following trends, but it’s hard to see how the total goes under here. Even if one team is “off” (like the last two games), the totals have been in the 230s. Four of Indiana’s and Cleveland’s last five meetings against each other have gone over the total, as have at least 60% of their games as a visitor and host, respectively. Bet the over.

Indiana is 7-1 against the spread (ATS) in its last eight games in Cleveland and has won four straight here.
