Indiana will bring the pressure and likely swarm PG Jalen Brunson, but I still like New York for my NBA game predictions. The Knicks’ role players have stepped up all postseason, and that scoring balance should stretch Indiana’s defense thin, especially inside the arc.

What’s the key for the Knicks? Let OG Anunoby hunt his shot. When he scores 17 or more points, New York wins – simple as that. That’s why I’m backing him to hit that number in my NBA player props today. With Indiana likely guarding Brunson full court, this opens the door for Anunoby to step up. Let’s not forget, the Knicks are riding a four-game win streak when Anunoby scores over 16.5 points. That’s no accident.

Andrew Nembhard Under 1.5 Threes (-157)
Indiana will have its hands full defensively, especially PG Andrew Nembhard, who’s stuck guarding Knicks’ Brunson. With most of his energy focused on that assignment, I’m fading him on the scoring front and finishing with under 1.5 3-pointers for another NBA player prop pick tonight. He’s 0-for-4 from deep against New York this season, and with Brunson ready to run him ragged, I don’t see him suddenly finding his stroke from deep.

There’s no doubt New York is loaded with scoring threats, but for my last NBA player prop, I’m fading SF Mikal Bridges to finish under 16.5 points. Why? In every Game 1, the Knicks like to cater most of their offensive plays to their main scorers – Brunson, Anunoby, and Karl Anthony-Towns. Bridges might get a couple of his usual baseline jumpers, but don’t expect much more. Bank Bridges to stay quiet on the points.

I’m betting New York will give him a hard time, force others to step up, and capitalize on offense. Moneyline? Take the Knickerbockers.

With a double-digit spread, spotting the Pacers might feel risky, but I like New York covering at home. Sure, expect the Pacers to keep it interesting, especially with how well they’ve been shooting. Don’t overthink it – ride with the Big Apple and lay the points.
