We were just as shocked as everyone when the Indiana Pacers pulled off another stunning fourth-quarter comeback in Game 1 of the NBA Finals vs the Oklahoma City Thunder. However, we’re not fazed in the big picture. Congratulations to the Pacers on that win, but the odds of NBA Finals Game 2 remain widely in favor of Oklahoma City. We double down and predict another Thunder blowout as they viciously even the NBA Finals.

Pacers vs Thunder Prediction

Yes, we whiffed on our Game 1 pick. However, statistically, the Thunder should have won that game and covered the spread. We’re not making excuses, as they choked those final minutes away. Fortunately, the Thunder are 17-2 and 10-8-1 against the spread (ATS) following a defeat. Our NBA betting picks tonight remain squarely on the Thunder.

Thunder 122, Pacers 108

Pacers vs Thunder Best NBA Player Props Today

  • Pacers G Andrew Nembhard Over 1.5 3-Pointers (+152)

The Pacers had six players score in double figures in Game 1, including Andrew Nembhard with 14. He hit a pair of 3s, which is the 10th time he’s hit that many in 17 playoff games. This NBA player prop is worth betting, given that it’s at plus money and Nembhard’s usage rate was above his usual.

  • Thunder F/C Chet Holmgren Under 25.5 Pts+Reb+Ast (-125)

The Thunder almost won Game 1 despite Chet Holmgren getting played off the floor. He’s likely to do much better than his six-point, six-rebound outing. But we’ll remain bearish on his overall numbers as we bet him to go under his combo stats as one of our key NBA prop picks today.

  • Thunder G Alex Caruso 11+ Points (+125)

With Holmgren and Jaylen Williams having off nights, Alex Caruso had to pick up some slack. He was Oklahoma City’s second-best player for parts of Game 1, and we’re betting on him to continue scoring. Caruso scored 11 in Game 1 and has topped double figures in nine of the 13 playoff games in which he’s played 22+ minutes.

Pacers vs Thunder Moneyline Pick

We’re not crazy about laying $575 to win $100 on the Thunder. But there is no value in a losing bet, which is what a bet on Indiana is. This may sound foolhardy given Game 1’s result. But the Thunder are unlikely to play as poorly offensively. They are still the favorites on the NBA Finals futures for good reason. Bet Oklahoma City to win.

Pacers vs Thunder Spread Pick

The NBA news today should reflect what everyone expected from Game 1: a Thunder blowout victory. Going against the spread is better than laying money on the Thunder’s moneyline odds. Seven of their eight home playoff wins have been by 11 or more points. Indiana has covered seven of the last nine games, though three of its four losses have been blowouts. Lay the points on Oklahoma City.

Bet On Thunder -11 (-105)

Pacers vs Thunder Over/Under Pick

Game 1 went under thanks to some staunch defending. The Thunder shot just 39.8% from the field while the Pacers turned the ball over 24 times. We believe Game 2 will “correct” offensively, especially for Oklahoma City, so the total should go over as it has in 72.2% (13-5-1) of Thunder games after a defeat. Take the over when you bet online.

Bet on Pacers vs Thunder Over 228.5 (-110)
