The New York Knicks seek a 2-0 lead against the Detroit Pistons, and NBA playoffs odds have the Knicks at -6.5. New York improved its NBA Finals futures by stunning Detroit with a 21-0 run in the fourth quarter en route to a 123-112 victory in Game 1.

Leg 1: Knicks ATS Pick -6.5

The NBA odds tonight for the Knicks to cover the spread are generous, and I think they’ll be better than what they showed in Game 1. They won 123-112 at home, and although Detroit is a solid team, it’s not on the same level as the Knicks, who have many more scoring threats with Jalen Brunson, OG Anunoby and Karl-Anthony Towns. Bettors should expect another double-digit win for the home side in the NBA matchups today.

Leg 2: Detroit Pistons Over 221 Points

My NBA expert picks include over 221 points, with 235 points scored in the first meeting. There is plenty of offense with the Pistons and Knicks, and they scored 221 or more points in all four regular-season meetings. So this is an excellent NBA parlay prediction for the Eastern Conference playoff game.

Leg 3: OG Anunoby Over 17.5 Points (-125)

Included in my NBA player props is OG Anunoby over 17.5 points. He had an excellent performance in Game 1, scoring 23 points. He played 44 minutes, so it was a concerted effort to stay on the court and get him into the game. He averages 18 points per game, and I can’t see Detroit’s interior defense playing well enough to stop him. Another big scoring game is coming for Anunoby, and it’s likely to come tonight at Madison Square Garden.

Leg 4: Josh Hart Double-Double (+125)

It’s worth including Josh Hart to score a double-double in your NBA same game parlay picks. He scored 13 points in Game 1, and although he didn’t score a double-double with only seven boards and six assists, he averages 9.6 rebounds per game. Hart is a player who doesn’t score too many points, but he’s good for 10+ points, and he could either distribute or grab boards all night long.
