Monday night is absolutely loaded with action, but perhaps the best matchup will take place in Madison Square Garden, where the Rockets visit the Knicks in a meeting of the third-place teams in each conference. There are plenty of big names and many places to go with our NBA player prop bets, so let’s dig into the numbers.
Rockets vs Knicks Prediction
Both teams enter on a losing note, with Houston dropping two in a row since an impressive four-game winning streak and New York falling at home to the Anthony Davis-less Lakers on Saturday. So who bounces back? We think the Knicks survive, but just barely as they nurse some injuries: Knicks 112, Rockets 109
Now, let’s take a look at the Rockets vs Knicks betting lines to find the best wagers.

Rockets vs Knicks 3 Best NBA Player Props Today
1. Jalen Brunson Over 25.5 Points (-141)
This simply has the feel of a game in which Brunson is going to put the Knicks on his back. He’s done that often over the past couple years and with his team a bit banged up (Anunoby, Hart, KAT all nursing injuries) this is the next in that line of heroic efforts, so long as he can shake off the shock of the Luka Doncic deal.
The Rockets will be focused on the All-Star guard and they play pretty good defense at all levels, but we see Brunson pushing the issue in a big way. He had 29 of the Knicks’ 97 points in the first matchup back in October and is averaging 28.5 over the last four versus Houston.
2. Karl-Anthony Towns Under 23.5 Points (-120)
While we expect Brunson to cook, we wonder when Towns is going to overcome the thumb ailment that is definitely giving him some fits. Since sitting out two games with the injury, he’s averaging 17.5 points on 43% shooting in six contests. The big man has a total of 25 points and shooting 9-for-24 over the last two games. Also, he’s averaging 15.5 in his last two against Houston.

3. Alperen Senguen Over 4.5 Assists (-127)
Fred VanVleet is out for this one, so the Rockets will be distributing the rock from different places. Sengun is averaging 5.0 assists on the season and had a team-high six in one of the three games VanVleet missed earlier in the season. The All-Star center also had five helpers when these teams played in October, and is only a game removed from handing out nine at Boston.
Keep an eye on the NBA news updates as a calf injury has Sengun with a questionable tag.

Rockets vs Knicks Moneyline Pick
Prior to their loss to the Lakers on Saturday, the Knicks were clicking. As long as they don’t have too many guys out for this one, we think they’ll fix whatever happened vs Los Angeles and get back in the win column.
Rockets vs Knicks Spread Pick
Houston is 16-7-1 against the spread on the road, 7-2-1 when it is the underdog. Only Oklahoma City and Cleveland have more wins against over-.500 teams, so the Rockets usually step up to their competition.
Rockets vs Knicks Over/Under Pick
Both teams hit the over more often than not, but we think this one could have some sluggish moments as both teams try to shake off whatever dogged them last time out. Add this under at -105 to your NBA betting slip.
